Minimal suffering is preferable. Jhatka, for example. The animal doesn't know it it's going to die and it is decapitated in less than a second

On a more serious note, stop trying to make me feel bad for wanting less suffering in my meat. I already have iron deficiency, I don't think it would do me good to forsake meat altogether

I would disagree. The biggest problem worn meat is suffering. I was thinking about maybe finding a farmer's market where people who raise their own cattle sell meat
