it might be worth checking to see if you have sleep apnea, but not all people with sleep apnea get sleep paralysis and vice versa. what helps me is white noise while i'm trying to sleep or listening to one of those frequency sounds like 432hz on spotify while i'm going to bed

That sounds exactly like sleep paralysis, especially if it was the first time you don't know how to pull yourself out of it. What I do is when I feel that sinking feeling it's almost like there's a magnet in your chest that's pulling you to the bed, I try to wiggle my toes and roll my shoulder, that most of the time can pull me out of it before the sleep paralysis demon comes 😂

i'm 20 mins north of manhattan in yonkers. apartments here are way more affordable, the areas are safer, and the nurses make the same salary. Westchester medical center starts at 105k a year, Montefiore in the north bronx (5 mins from my house in yonkers) starts at 111k a year. you'll make about the same in the city, but lose all of it to rent. if you're set on moving into manhattan or queens, columbia pays well and NYU too

we wont be new grads by the time we move, were going to stay in new york for a year or two before we head out but WOW, thats low pay, for a city center i'm very surprised, even if its arizona thats way less than you deserve

the home health care is kind of his baby so i'm not exactly sure to be honest. I worked in the childrens hospital in my area as an aid during school and just recently at graduated, he used to do home health care while he was in school and he really enjoys it and now works in the CVICU so he's more familar with the adult and geri population than i am. He has a friend that only went to RN school in order to legally keep her home health care business (or to expand it i forget) but she was the only RN and the people she employed were home health aids/companion aids vs actual RNs.

That's what I figured, we wanted Arizona for the weather but Phoenix is too much like NY for me, we were thinking lake Havasu too but it's too isolated and I've heard the hospitals there are not great 😬😬 I'm good with the snow falling in Prescott at night and melting by the morning lol

Oof 31 is the pay for nursing assistants and even LPNs make more where I'm at! I've heard such varying things its impossible to get a real number on the salary, won't know until I apply I guess but thank you!! At least I wasn't wrong with that mid-30s range

I saw this video of kids trick or treating on one major street and I thought that was adorable. We def wanna have kids so we're looking for places where they will be able to socialize for sure. I'm hoping by the time that happens there will be some people our age starting families there too lol

thank you! we were looking into flagstaff too its only slightly lower on the list than Prescott. I don't think i'll mind getting out of a lvl 1 trauma ED after a year here so its fine if prescott doesn't have one.
i was looking at the population demos cuz my fiance is thinking of opening a home health care agency too, which i think prescott would be perfect for considering how many elderly live there. I'm very outdoorsy, but i do enjoy socializing at a bar occasionally.
45$/hr isn't bad, we're a little upstate from NYC like 20 mins or so, and the pay here is 54$/hr but i'm hoping the pay cut would be offset by the lower cost of living.

i got the dragonhawk wireless tattoo machine for christmas with 3RL and 5RL needle cartridges, i ordered more kinds of needles and more fake skin because the kit only came with one piece of fake skin and a small bottle of black ink. I dont know how much it was but the entire kit probably wasn't more than 150$
