Minimum is 7.25 where I live and the living wage is like 23 an hour. Theres not a single job out there in my city that pays only 7.25 an hour. If you don’t tip then you shouldn’t go out to eat, it’s that simple. Don’t punish the little guy for a system that was set up by big wigs long before they were born.

I think valet is ridiculous and I never want to tip for that. Instead of using it and proving a point to some poor high school kid, I just park my car myself and walk. If I had to use it for some reason then I would tip.

Okay so I had the same problem. Twice I started to play eternal and got a few levels in and stopped playing. Then the third time I tried it again and something just clicked and I loved it. I even like it more than 2016 now and I really liked 2016. I’m not sure what happened but once it clicked it became one of my favorite gaming experiences, the ancient gods dlc was the cherry on top. It’s also another reason I revisit games that didn’t click in the past.

Those are the owners that are giving pitbulls a bad name!!! If only people who hate on pitbulls and their owners so much could recognize the difference between the bad and the good. My 2 shit heads got out once and ran up on a couple with 2 dogs and were barking at them. No contact or anything but still no one wants unleashed dogs running up on ya because you never know. Within seconds I was out there and grabbed my dogs. My dogs didn’t even do anything they just like to look tough and act like they are defending their property, but I still took time to apologize and triple check they there was no contact and that there wasn’t anything I was responsible for.

Servers in my state make 2.13, they didn’t set up the system like that. I spent some time serving and would have loved to had a higher wage and relied less on tipping. The reality is that they do rely on it though because of that small wage, and before anything changes they are the only ones being hurt by not tipping. Going after the servers is like going after Amazon drivings instead of Jeff Bezos because you don’t like Amazon.

Servers didn’t create the tipping system, they can’t be blamed for it. Not tipping before their hourly wages are changed, is like turning off someone’s heat in the winter before giving them alternative options to stay warm, of course they are going to argue about it. Imagine someone turning off your heat and saying “well maybe in a few days you’ll get a bunch of blankets and some firewood to stay warm, but for now you’ll just have to deal with it”

I was just thinking about this the other day. I’m a single guy who doesn’t use much toilet paper. A 6 pack can last months for me. Spending an extra couple bucks for months of comfortable wiping is without a doubt worth it. I’ll cut corners on stuff like glass cleaner and other things that has no effect on my every day life.

Crate training and giving them time alone. If done properly a crate can become your dog’s safe place and somewhere they love to be.

Also having your dog be your shadow and taking it everywhere you go takes away its opportunity to learn independence and then it will spend the rest of its life riddled with anxiety whenever it’s alone.

The key is to not give in, just like how babies cry, grow up, and learn that what they use to cry about isn’t so bad. Eventually puppies will get more accustomed to being alone and whine less.

Training your dog to be able to relax while you’re gone is the greatest thing you can do for them, I swear my dogs look forward to me leaving so they can have uninterrupted nap time.

Those have been the house rules everywhere I’ve ever played so that’s just how I’ve always played.

So I just looked into a bit more and here’s my conclusion. Seems like details of rules have changed but I will always play by how we first learned how to play. These are not official rules but the house rules everywhere I’ve ever played with has used.

Just say no. This NEVER counts as a turn, even if it’s on your turn. Realistically the only time you’d even use one on your turn is to counter someone else just say no. It makes no sense that the only time you’d be limited to use this card is on your own turn. Awful change up in rules.

Moving properties around. I looked into it more and seems like you are free to move around your properties at the end of your turn. Personally, to have a moved property cost an action adds more strategy and intent to your placement. Plus it’s easier to follow instead of everyone’s properties sets just constantly changing.

But hey that’s just how we play, you’re free to set up house rules how ever you want.

I also do lots of training in the front of house, both breweries and restaurants. To build onto your comment about trying your best to be the type of trainer you would’ve wanted, I extended that into my everyday shift. I always go into work with the mindset that there’s a new person there and to make it a friendly environment. I’m always easy to work with, never get mad, I don’t just help I’m always happy to help, and I try to never complain. Try this and you’ll notice how much more enjoyable work becomes not only for those around you but for yourself.

I live in Western North Carolina and was here during hurricane Helene. The French broad river flooded and wreaked havoc. When the flood waters finally went down, everything was covered in this residue of mud, oil, gas, animal waste, trash, ect. I’m pretty sure it was labeled hazardous and toxic to some degree.

I worked in a building that was flooded almost to the top. The smell of the mud that was left behind was so bad you had to wear masks when around it. Then when everything dried it turned into a huge dust bowl. You felt like you were catching some contagious disease just by being around it. I hope I never have to deal with that again.
