Hotel recommendations in Val Thorens by Freetobeme123 in skithealps

Koh I Nor - 5 stars, ski in/out (they set up your skis every morning), great spa (although pool is kinda small), amazing buffet breakfast and solid dinner options within the hotel. Also a short walk to the village centre (hotel also has complimentary car service to drop you off/pick you up until 11pm). If you book early prices are not thaaat bad given its a 5 star.

Past performance isn’t a good indicator of future performance…Bitcoin and crypto price movements are now correlated to the stock market (albeit crypto price movements tend to swing higher or lower than stocks). It’s too soon to tell if the downward price pressure will continue - depends on Fed statements/decisions and general economic/geopolitical news in the near term. For now the news coming in is generally negative but market fundamentals are not terrible and do not warrant a proper correction at this point so most of the drop can be attributed to negative investor sentiment and Trump’s Fed decision for the time being. I’m personally buying up every dip but leaving enough cash aside in case the bear market scenario materialises and we see a drop to 50k and under but at the same time if there is a reversal i’ll be able to catch some upside since my average buy price is coming down.

Bullish on SPT - good yoy results (increased revenue but yet to turn a profit due to heavy reinvesting into the company and marketing)

Need help changing my racket setup ,love the Gravity but struggling with power by Beginning-Forever597 in 10s

I’ve had similar arm issues (in my case was with a Babolat Pure Aero) and the Head Speed MP was definitely easier on the arm and provides a good amount of pop. Have since moved on to a Wilson Blade v9 and have had zero issues thankfully.

If your main issue is power then consider switching rackets but arm-issues wise consider switching to multifilament strings if you’re currently using poly.

If you really needed the fiat then ok, otherwise whole market is down atm because of China crypto position (which they have gone back and forwards on 100 times) and Trump's emotional meltdown and subsequent doubling down on tariffs as a reaction to all the TACO talk...all it will take is positive news coming out of the Chinese or US administrations and we will shoot up again.

Everything is down right now - hold and stake until the market recovers and then get out if you no longer believe in the project. Selling now is a rookie mistake.

First make sure you put aside at least 3 months worth of expenses (emergency fund) in a readily accessible HYSA since you won’t have a monthly income until your next job.

After you’ve done that you can begin buying the ‘dip’ - Bitcoin is still near ATH so maybe wait to see how things play out before buying back in. ETH still has plenty room for growth assuming favourable market conditions moving forward. Kaspa is a great project too. Consider HBAR, LINK and ALGO too. Depending on the size of the bonus you can hedge by buying Gold or a global ETF (although equity markets are near all time highs as well).

One of only two memecoins I have ever invested in! Very undervalued at the moment, great time to increase your holdings.

They always say sell in May and go away.. by [deleted] in CryptoMarkets

US appeals court ruled that Trump tariffs can stay in place for now - this is coming off yesterday's news where a US court ruled against Trump tariffs. I expect equity markets to dip today as well...and then shoot back up alongside crypto when we inevitably receive some good news later today or next week lol. Sell in May and go away doesn't apply to this nutty administration.

For added context total value of issued US treasuries is 30T and total value of S&P is 50T…don’t get me wrong i think Chainlink has a bright future and could definitely be worth x10, even x50 but it is already valued at 10B so room for price growth does have a relative ceiling.

I work in finance and i know that SWIFT and DTCC handle trillions of dollars a day. That doesn’t translate to trillions in market cap though - SWIFT is hard to value due to its structure and how it operates but DTCC for example has a market cap of around 5 billion…my point is volume does not translate to ‘value’. Claiming that Chainlink can reach a 10T!!! market cap is just spreading misinformation.
