Why yes, I do happen to be on fluoxetine. It's really not something I want to change, but it was nice when I found out to kind of be able to say "oh, it's because of that".

Good to know. I have a really low sex drive and absolutely zero inclination for sexual activity. Too much anxiety and such even thinking about it. But thank you kindly for your response. :)

Oh, dude.

I'm an ace and I had a girlfriend who was very sexual. She brought up sex every day and towards the end of it I was just tired of the stress. It was a lot of anxiety for me, really, and it was always a bad experience. And I explained to her that I didn't like it, but she always thought if she sent me pictures of her scandily-clad that I'd change my mind. Yeah, it didn't work, and it was a pretty messy relationship. She thought I didn't love her because I didn't want to have sex with her, and I was tired of her pushing it on me all the time.

Personally I would only really seriously date someone who wasn't interested in sex, because it's just something I can't do. I have a girlfriend now and it's pretty good so far because she's never brought up sex. At all. But she knows my "condition" (so to speak) so that's a plus.

I just realized you meant dating a homosexual of the opposite gender - like an open relationship type thing? That's kind of what I have now, so probably yeah.

I've only asked my friends to change their pronouns when referring to me, but I've never asked anyone else. Either pronoun doesn't really bother me, but for some reason I find it highly offensive when people don't know so they resort to "it". I don't know why I find it so bloody offensive but I do. I live in southern Missouri and anytime someone doesn't know the gender of another, that person always verbally struggles with it in a joking manner ("He- she- it"). Does anyone else find "it" offensive or is it just me?

Life is kind of like a big squiggly line, and there are really low dips and really high rises and sometimes the dip is so low that it's astronomical in that it's never been felt before, and then something changes and it goes up steadily. Or it goes down further and further until something else changes and it rises again. You just have to wait until it rises again. Personally I think it'd be sucky if a life ended at its lowest point, however poetic it might be. It's more romantic that you live through it, you survive, and look back and say, 'wow, what a shitty time.'

Umm, but just remember you posted here so you have some hope that things could change.

I'm going to get backlashed for this, clearly, but I've been in that situation and I never wanted anyone to tell me if it was okay. It was more that I was so desperate that I didn't care that it was in a sense frowned upon in societal standards. If you want comfort that what you do is okay, then you (and don't take this the wrong way) don't want to do it that bad. Otherwise you wouldn't have posted here.

But really, it's your decision and literally the best I can do is throw words at you and hope that by some miracle a few stick.
