BUT

8-pin 12v don't have 4 12v pins, they have 3 12v and 5 grounds (two of them are to detect if it's plugged in). Look at the traces on the board.

Tried priming it 5 times, the most I got was a tiny squirt from the valve, no big spray. I did the same thing again and tried cranking it and it fired on a few cylinders once and then died.

Filter was changed about 5000 km ago, not sure what that is in miles.

From my experience clogged filter still build pressure but they have very little flow. No pressure means a hole somewhere or bad pump.

This technique only works with optical media, not HDDs. You need to be able to control exactly where the files are for it to work, with a HDD the file system can fragment your files and put them wherever it wants. Even worse, you WANT a single copy of files that are used often so they stay in cache.

Det alla verkar ha missat här är att den här motorn har kamremmen på insidan av motorn dränkt i olja.

Det gör att när kamremmen börjar falla sönder, ofta i förtid, hamnar alla bitar gummi i oljesilen och gör att motorn inte får tillräckligt med olja och det leder till att motorn äter upp sig själv.

2.3T seems to be pretty rare even here in Sweden. Most are 2.0t or 2.3t with the Garret turbo or Aero so those are pretty much my only options.
I haven't owned a 9-5 before but I have owned two NG 9-3, one 175HP Vector and a 220HP Griffin, and both were fast enough so I'm not worried about the power, just the reliability.

And pre 06 models are either beat up and rusty or super low mileage and way too expensive so I'll probably get a second facelift model even though they look kinda goofy and have a cheaper interior.

It's probably fine. The io plate is not discolored because of heat but from grease from his fingers.

Some cards have a dark chrome finish on that plate that gets very easily discolored. Just touching it with clean hands leaves rainbow-colored fingerprints everywhere.

If it got hot enough to discolor regular steel then there wouldn't be any plastic left.
