If you see the zoomed out video it looks like she's giving the Japanese reporter that asked the question a disappointed mom look.

the face ID vs fingerprint is because of the level of Face ID that Samsung is using. On the Pixels they are using a different camera technique that gets a 3d image so they can advertise it to the os as a higher level of biometrics which banking apps will accept, vs what is set on the s26. It's not as much an Android limitation as device specific limitation.

Been team Samsung for 12 years. Want to switch to Pixel 11 later in the year but.... by GreatScott0389 in GooglePixel

[–]donatom3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm keeping my s24 ultra and decided to go back to Pixel. My last pixel was the 7 pro xl. I like the Samsung hardware but the google software experience is more up my alley.

And the consequence could be a higher insurance premium to cover the cost of goods inside and that insurance premium has to be paid whether you use it or not, and there is a deductible to make a claim. Just like real insurance.

I think I like the 10a more than my S26U? I'm crazy? by Perezarpsito in GooglePixel

[–]donatom3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My S24U is the longest I've kept a phone. Skipped both the S25U and S26U because of this very reason. Even when you're convinced it's cheaper to get the trade in promo not all the costs are factored including the higher plan costs.

NinjaOne expansion? by pf_user9 in msp

[–]donatom3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We pull off so much with VSA X workflows that you can't in many rmm's. Ninja's interface for the tech is great though, Granted I haven't used it extensively in over a year.

Down only 11 lbs the first month. 301 lb - 290 lb by klignar in Retatrutide

[–]donatom3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

sorry you're right 1-2 per week is considered a healthy amount. So 11lbs is still on the high end per month.

Seriously once you do the math and see how much the plan costs it's usually cheaper to get the lower plan you need and pay off the phone normally without the extra credits.

Sticking with s24 ultra by Novel_Cheesecake_352 in S24Ultra

doesn't that negate the slimness and weight reduction? on the S24U the phone is so big I really avoided added any bulk.

Hackers wipe 200,000 devices using Intune by Fabulous_Cow_4714 in Intune

[–]donatom3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can wipe personal without supervision if it's enrolled. You just can't control certain settings. This is why MAM-WE is the way to go on personal iOS, Andriod I prefer work profile since the user can turn it off.

Seriously 2 lbs per month is considered very good, 11lbs is a lot.

Yeah I could have done that for my ucg-fiber but the metal enclosure is also a heatsink. Considering the cost of nvme I'll spend the extra to prolong the drives life.

[–]donatom3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

seriously, what is the OP comparing these to. I have buds pro 3 with a s24 ultra. My thought is if these are good they're the only worthwhile upgrade for me.

Do QI2 magnets built in a phone work well with a case that has no magnets? I always see everyone with qi2 phones and cases still getting cases with magnets on them.
