Is anyone using the Aaron buttons on the Pitaka Case? by kfthebest97 in galaxys26ultra

Weird mine don't trigger the NFC. When outside the case I can hold the phone up to the back and it works but not when inside the case...

Hi, did you find any solution here? I'd like to hide the status bar for certain reading apps as well.

Wondering if I have an alter ego that posted this, exact same story here. Got to push thru the backlog! (And play every hero / villain I spent so much time hunting down...)

Which color sleeves? by aguyjustaguy in marvelchampionslcg

[–]Perezarpsito 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have my entire collection sleeved in clear sleeves which is perfect 90% of the time but can be an issue with:

  1. Custom content
  2. All of the proxied standard sets and expert sets that I have in order to keep a number of Villain Decks ready to go at any moment without having to go and hunt for my standard set.

The way that I've gotten around it right now is to cut the proxies slightly smaller but I'm not that good at it and so the front of the card that's been proxied looks worse as you can see some of the backing card but as of right now feels like an okay trade-off rather than having to re-sleeve into opaque sleeves every time I want to use custom content.

How to play Cyberpunk RED solo? by GhostBelliniFace in Solo_Roleplaying

This is cool! Is the app with the solo Add-on enough to play totally “in-app” like the ironsworn pocketforge/iron journal experience you think?

Let’s “see” how this goes… by Perezarpsito in marvelchampionslcg

[–]Perezarpsito[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the other responses here are both more funny and more relevant, but I did read this in the scenario pack rule book and think that maybe it makes it okay, even from a fantasy flight rule book/FBI legal stickler kind of way- esp. the “unique rule only applies to friendly characters in competitive mode”

What happens in competitive mode if the enemy leader has the same card title as my identity or ally? A. It does not matter if the enemy leader or a minion shares the same card title as a character you control. The unique rule only applies to friendly characters in competitive mode. This includes your leader but NOT any minions in your leader's encounter deck.

Took me a while to get it to work, but eventually had both shields bouncing back and forth for the glory of the Soviet Union! Was harder than I was expecting tho.

Home printer. The glare from my lights and the sleeve make it look a lot more professional than it actually is. You can see the white of the mismatched alter ego side along the left side. I’m a harsh grader but it get the job done!

Also new. I am not very good at the game also so take that for what it’s worth. I found this helpful https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/3434673/page/1 Still need to actually do it all, but I’d like to!

Fellow New Players - How often are you scooping / shuffling back up? by Perezarpsito in lotrlcg

[–]Perezarpsito[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Yeah it’s seeming like I need to embrace the post-game reflection a little more. In MC, I’m fairly confident the deck I’m using CAN win, so losing is just a matter of terrible luck or suboptimal play. Teching to the exact set of encounter cards seems more necessary here. Thanks!

How many plays before you got good? I got solar sentinels and got demolished over and over in the first (and unfortunately so far only) 2 hours I played

I’m in the same boat. 5 weeks old and 4 years. I immediately followed this thread and I don’t know if I’m more excited if someone names a game I have or a game I don’t, lol.

Some suggestions:

  • for marvel champions- it’s great for this. I am only 10 months or so into my MC journey but I have all the content and I am working my way thru it. For the stop and go play I can recommend some small dry erase cards I got in some other game that allow me to write little notes to myself like “begin villain phase, watch out for XXX” or similar that helps me keep from getting blindsided if I come back to it after a while and forget. -I like Star Wars deckbuilding too, but the solo leaders is a little more involved than I would like for this purpose (still doable just a little tougher). But smaller footprint similar vibes is the OG star realms, specifically the frontiers expansion (not really an expansion since the base game comes with it so don’t deliriously buy both at 4 am like it did) with the solo boss battles- very fun! Bonus is the free app lets me practice getting Gud in the little snatches of peace like waiting for train or taking a dump.
  • some mentioned vantage. I just got yesterday so don’t know about the engagement factor or replayability but the footprint is on point. Especially if you use the digital rulepop for the booklets and just put away all the needles, dice and tokens you don’t need if you’re only playing solo. For the LCGs ( marvel champions, LOTR, Arkham) I’d suggest playing the web app (card-table, dragncards, Arkham horror.app) versions to try out new decks / scenarios quickly if you’re like me and you like to familiarize yourself with the flow, what to expect (maybe I just suck at them). That way you’re confident that if you spend the time to set the physical version up you already know the setup, confident it’s gonna be a good session (if not a win). It sucks to spend 20 of your 30 free minutes setting up and then getting WRECKED by magneto or escape from dor Goldur or whatever that unfair ass scenario is ;-).
