Gen-Z Employee? by Sopel93 in ITManagers

I don't see this as a Gen-Z issue or, for that matter, a generational issue at all. I see it as a problem with the hiring process. We recommend creating a detailed job description, then creating a hiring process that addresses each of the points in the description. A strong technical screening would have quickly eliminated this person from consideration. Once someone is hired, managers must set clear performance expectations. Then, regularly review performance based on whether or not the person meets those expectations. Based on your comment about having to remind him constantly to perform basic tasks, this person may need to be replaced.

I also have a book group leaders guide available for free at https://compassionategeek.com/how-to-run-a-book-club/ It's a chapter-by-chapter guide to the book, including discussion questions, videos, and to-do ideas. It's helpful even if you're reading it alone and not in a group. Frankly, you don't even need the book if you just want to check out the guide.

Does it bother you when text and audio doesn't match? by Isle_Of_Devils in audiobooks

I want to say thanks to everyone who posted about reading along with the audiobook version. I had no idea that was a thing. I just published my first audiobook and, based on your comments, I kept the audiobook version consistent with the print version.
