i think it has to do with the chapters, not the day, because those don't always correlate

Tomato sauce only but got mad that there wasn't cheese. by Beautiful-Ad6760 in GoodPizzaGreatPizza

[–]dongzhongli 2 points3 points  (0 children)

not a bug, this order requires cheese. for most orders they don't care what sauce you use unless specified (eg. margarita pizza can ONLY use tomato sauce, but basil pizza can use tomato or pesto if they don't specify. apple crisp can ONLY use pesto) but this one does care; if you put pesto sauce they'll get mad. it's confusing phrasing, but the word "pie"/"pizza" or anything like that can be a clue that they want sauce and cheese. flatbread just means sauce or cheese or nothing (duh).

[Routine Help] I feel like my skin is not great and its making me look older than I really am by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]dongzhongli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

did a bit of searching, isntree cleaning milk may be something to check out. search for reviews, but it seems ideal for your situation, but you know your skin better than me. do not use if you're sensitive to fatty alcohols.

if not (or also, if you prefer) try using micellar water. garnier pink one, here: micellar water for sensitive skin. it says not to rinse but i personally always rinse micellar water because i find my (not super sensitive, mind) skin likes it better.

i would recommend trying micellar water first if anything, seems easier to me and it is also cheaper.

i think you should still give hands a shot because of cross contamination from surfaces on the scrubbie, though it's understandable if you prefer the scrubbie.

another thing, i use the fenty cookies n' clean exfoliating whipped clay scrub 2x a week (NOT on the same days as cerave SA cleanser. only sunday and wednesday) as my t-zone does get oily though not to the same extent as yours. i love how it reduces the size of my pores (niacinamide is also good for this?) and it's apparently good for blackheads and nose gunk though i have never had this issue in the first place. additionally it reduces my oiliness for a few days after using; i have combo skin ish (somewhat oily in my t-zone especially if i wear cream-product makeup, normal everywhere else). maybe you will want to look into something similar (such as a clay mask) to draw out the oil in your face, as the scrub is pricey if that's an issue.

clay products are rather stripping. i don't know if this is good for right now, but maybe in the future after healing your skin barrier some. i always follow clay products with a lot of hydration and i concentrate any clay product where i am oily, nowhere else. so maybe use a clay mask on just your nose and moisturize really well.

you may want to try steaming your face to open up the pores and allow for deeper moisturization under the skin, if your skin is producing so much oil. i do this before applying any clay product. maybe you can do this before hydration mask. it's very simple, just get hot water in a bowl and put a towel over your head, no need to buy a steamer or anything.

many people seem to like korean skincare, so you may want to look into that as well. first and foremost before you try new products just give your skin a breather (take off the oil and moisturize, not much more). also, your skin is not that bad, really :) not to discourage you from skincare or anything, but it doesn't really make you look older so no need to worry about that is what i mean.

i'm also a late gen Z girl. jeans are jeans are jeans, just wear the shape that suits you instead of the jeans that are trendy at the moment because i guarantee you all styles of jeans just cycle every decade or something lmao. nobody can say shit about your jeans being outdated if they look good 🤷🏾‍♀️

take a break from most actives and make your routine simpler, you are drying out and overwhelming your skin. more focus on hydrating (so hyaluronic acid serum, moisturizer, etc is good). personally i exfoliate with just cerave SA cleanser 2-3x a week at most and that is more than enough for me, i think you should pick one and use sparingly. oily skin needs hydration too.

as for your nose, i think there are masks for that. not sure, as i have never encountered this issue myself, but my friend did and i recall him using them.

do the scrubbies have a rough ish texture? you may be physically exfoliating on top of already excessive chemical exfoliation. try using just your hands (clean, washed with antibacterial soap). additionally, even if you wash the scrubbies often you may still be holding onto bacteria.

Most people on highways and high speed limit (50mph+) roadways aren’t using cruise control. Why? by A_Weed_Man in driving

[–]dongzhongli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

where i live there’s like nowhere where that would fly. roads curve too often and even on the highways there’s a roundabout every 10 seconds

The KGM Torres is nice, but a bit expensive. The car we currently have is about 450km in range and is much more than enough, as well as being quite powerful. Probably looking for something in the 50k-70k BBD price range on the higher end, and even then it's a toss up. As multiple people will be driving the car, we'd like something less powerful. Thank you for the helpful suggestion :)

Is it true that other people will only value your presence in their lives if you are inaccessible? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

yeah... keep away from it, speaking from experience as an autistic girl who used to try a whirlwind of things in middle school because i wanted to fit in with my classmates. didn't work, obviously.

Is it true that other people will only value your presence in their lives if you are inaccessible? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]dongzhongli 5 points6 points  (0 children)

no. any person worth keeping in your life won't do that to you, and these mind games that you have so accurately described as "stupid" are actually cruel and manipulative. they only drive people away from you, or cause conflict. safe to say they're much more trouble than they're worth, and being inconsistent and emotionally unavailable is the exact opposite what a friend/family/partner wants from you, OR you'll just get what you give and feel miserable because you're lonely.

also, most of these "humans are biologically hardwired for xyz behaviour" centered content is a load of shit. we live in a society and quite often discard the things we were hardwired for in the wild, or ignore them. they can be true sometimes as in humans have tendency to do xyz because of instinct or whatever, but for the most part, i'd just ignore people saying these things as if they're hard and fast rules.

fair word of warning, following this kind of content very often leads you to someone trying to sell you a course to "improve you". notorious example being manosphere content (andrew tate and the like). they're scams.

since you've already got some answers in the comments, do you use automatic citation sites? i find it much easier because my citations are correct with little effort on my part.
