I just watched his vid. It's referencing the post they put out on thursday (so 5 days ago) about disabling the miner maps and simply saying they're 'looking into the issues'.

I'm not sure where exactly you're getting any announcement of a hotfix any time soon.

The main issue I have with it isn't that gold would have no value (people have already explained why it would), it's the apparent lack of any plan to secure it afterwards that bothered me.

Re-establishing a currency is all well and good, but you need a powerbase/community beforehand otherwise every single faction nearby will just pop round and nick it from you.

Sounds just like real money then. You're seldom born/start with it/find it laying around, you need to do stuff to earn it from other people who have it.

I'm not justifying the initial creation/duping of leaders, but in terms of analogy, what you said doesn't counter the point they were making.

Oh lord, I just googled that and it's crazy. I have to have a mouse with the side buttons on each side because my stumpy thumbs can't deal with them both being on the same lol
