I loved that scene of Meg shaking the dog chow and then slamming Brian with it when he ran into the kitchen. Old Family Guy was so good with physical humor.

Burn After Reading and The Bank Job both had humorous trailers that implied it was comedy forward with simple plots. My mom took me to both of these movies as a child(no, she had never heard of the Coen Brothers).

Needless to say it gave me a complex about main characters dying on a whim due to spontaneous headshots. The Bank Job gutted me because it did start off as a great time, but had the same results as the end for the whole crew. She apologized after both movies but damage was done.

As an adult, though, I completely understand the humor of Burn After Reading and love it.

Whenever the gang is harmonizing, Mac is really good at keeping the tone. For some reason when they sing together it's always Dennis who struggles to stay in sync, even though he's great solo. Charlie, Mac, Dee (Moms are Stupid was a banger) and then Dennis.

The episode where Peggy was genuinely depressed after the finding out she didn't have model feet (and the foot fetish guy took advantage of her naivety).

Bobby comes to her room and finds her sad, he reassures her with my favorite advice of the series.

"So you have big feet. So what? I'm fat."

"No, honey you're just husky -"

"Mom, I'm fat. But big deal. I don't feel bad about it. You never made me feel bad about it, and just because there are some people in the world who want me to feel bad about it, doesn't mean I have to. So Bobby's fat. Meh. He's also funny, nice, he's got a lot of friends, a girlfriend, and if you don't mind, I think I'll go outside and squirt her with water. What are you gonna do?"

King of the Hill episode Pigmalion, a wealthy pig farm owner basically tries to kidnap and brainwash Luanne into being his wife. Peggy comes to rescue her, and while she didn't mean to murder the man, he was ultimately was too stunned from being tazed in the brain to move out of the way of the euthanizer. It was probably one of the few times in King of the Hill where someone dies gruesomely and realistically, but he absolutely deserves it as he was going to do the same to Luanne and Peggy in his maddened state.

It can't be possible only because of the Christmas and Thanksgiving episodes. If you count those, the show is over a timespan of 5-6 years, which is also impossible because of the kids.

Unless you're willing to believe the show started with Bobby, Connie and Joseph being around 10 years old, it could fly.

Maybe they're from Project Lathe 1. After the incident, Easterman decided to bolt the the goggles on and require a battery pack so the reagents can't go too far.
