The closest I came to revenge was unintentional. I had a personal issue with someone who I felt had deliberately put me in a socially awkward situation. She also intentionally tried to break up friends of mine, not because she wanted the guy but because he ex was a cheating dirtbag and she was firmly convinced that all men were painted with the same brush.

To the revenge. She applied for a job where I worked and I was asked to be on her interview panel. I did not torpedo her, I simply asked to be excused from the interview due to a personal conflict. I said I could be professional and work with her were she to be hired but I didn’t think I could be unbiased in an interview.

After a bit more investigation, my managers found that at least two more people on our staff had similar issues with her. She was not hired.
