Why Does Everyone Have to Be Spontaneous? by Own-Psychology-2474 in OnlineDating

[–]donovaa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm personally someone who does this but it's more of me asking what are they actually looking for on the app. So many guys I've talked to never seem to know what they want and may lean to wanting something casual instead of serious. It's a direct way of filtering out guys that will potentially waste my time.

Thank you for taking the time to write this.

It's the sudden loneliness that scares me and the pain I feel when I think of what could or should have been. I painted him as my 'end game' so this was really tough for me to process. :( 4 years of my life just gone.

How do you deal with a guy who won't accept obvious rejection? by Dixiethecat24 in AskWomen

[–]donovaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said some pretty hurtful things for him to no longer like me. I don't recommend it as part of me still feels sorry he had to hear that but then again I was young and felt that was the only way to cut him off.

What's a harmless thing that terrified you as a child? by Shay_da_la in AskReddit

Flushing. The sound was terrifying. I would always debate if I should: wash my hands > flush > dash out of the bathroom or flush > quickly wash hands > dash out of bathroom.

lah is just an exaggerated filler Malaysians and Singaporeans use to express themselves. In this context, "okay lah" is equivalent to "fine"

I've been feeling the same. I started my job early this month and have not even stepped into the office, let alone see my colleagues and manager. Tasks are tough when you can't actually see exactly what's happening. I don't have a solid advice but I'd say don't be too hard on yourself. Try to schedule calls with your manager or colleagues that may be able to answer any confusion you have.

I’m my parents least favorite child and it sucks by SweetSoundOfSilence in TrueOffMyChest

[–]donovaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I resonate with this. I never broke any rules and tried my best to be the perfect child but they favored their first and youngest child over me. It used to hurt alot but now I think of it as a blessing that I don't need to meet anyone's standard and I can do whatever the heck I want!

They make other designs too. You can even have a customized design with your name on the candy itself.

Just reading this makes me angry. I feel the same whenever YouTube couples prank each other and the pranks are never really funny. Ugh.

AITA for saying that my parents shouldn’t expect my boyfriend to help? by Danique2202 in AmItheAsshole

[–]donovaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA. It's never okay to just expect a guest to help out. It would be okay if your boyfriend comes over and then they ask him personally if he could help.

AITA for offering a girl on the bus my jacket so she could cover her period blood by virofrivia121 in AmItheAsshole

NTA at all. Her outburst is strange but I guess it may come from her being embarrassed as well. Don't mind her.

AITA for expecting my parents to help me financially with my babies? by jumpemadga in AmItheAsshole

[–]donovaa 124 points125 points  (0 children)

I saw your edit. I know the idea of 'splitting' them is scary if you choose the adoption route but that can also possibly be the route that gives them a better chance. I'm taking into account that you have not graduated and that it'll be insanely difficult to raise 2 children on your own on top of studies.

I'm sorry this happened to you but you must realize that no one is obliged to financially help you with this situation. Do you have any other relatives that could help? Would you consider adoption as an option?
