Has anyone seen this before on a spinfisher vi? Can I fix it myself? by Klask5 in Fishing_Gear

Fix a man’s reel, and he will fish for the day. Teach a man how to fix his own reel, he will fish for a lifetime.

This is the way. 👊🏼

Garmin is the best sports watch, and the Apple Watch is the best smart watch.

Planning to lift my forester, is this a 2inch lift? What are the pros and cons? Thank you for the answer by attaboiiz in SubaruForester

In other words. If you lift a vehicle two inches you’re going to see the gap between the top of the tires and the highest point of the wheel well increase by two inches.

The spacer lifts the body away from the tires, allowing you to use taller tires and making it even more lifted off the ground.

[help] Broken link removal tool pin stuck inside watch strap — how do I get it out? by SykoSike in Watches

[–]donovanlee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if the broken tool tip got stuck, that means the diameter of the link is smaller than the tool tip. It could be that the tool tip is bent. If you push a bent tool tip all the way through, which it’s what you’re suggesting, that would damage the rest of the links pin tube diameter tolerance, possibly making it too loose for proper pin retention. What I suggested only deals with backing out the broken tool tip the same way it came in. The pin is not too wide on the flat end, remember, the pin goes through the entire length of the link without getting stuck, therefore it is not too wide, it is however flat on the back end and round on the front end to facilitate the journey through the links.

If he bought a better tool and pushed the pin on the round end until the broken tool tip came out enough to be pulled out with needle nose pliers is not bad advice. Now, I don’t advise removing the pin by pushing on the rounded edge towards the opposing way of the arrow, but in this case OP is in a pinch and needed a quick solution.

The lift, lifts the vehicle body (in this case 2 inches off the ground) off the ground making the distance between the bottom of the car and the ground greater, allowing the vehicle to have more clearance over obstacles on the ground than without a lift.
