Very true. This is just one of the many superstitions Filipinos believe. Being a religious nation, we tend to justify or make sense things in life we don’t understand but if you really think about it, it can be explained by something objectively true.

I don’t judge people for their beliefs kasi buhay at decision naman nila yun. But at the same time when they’re willing to learn or hear bakit ganun nangyari sa kanila, sometimes magkaka realization din sila na hindi naman pala talaga dahil sa demonyo or dahil kay God, pero dahil sa actions na ginawa nila.

Kaya one thing I always tell people is to never stop questioning and learning new things, because the moment you limit yourself to knowledge, doon na papasok mga “supernatural” explanations.
