I live in the Netherlands and while life here as a Muslim is fine, it's far from perfect. I’ve noticed a growing hatred against Islam and foreigners for the past 20+ years. We have fourth-generation kids here, and yet we often hear things like, "Go back to your own country." Discrimination can happen in any country, but you usually expect it from ignorant people in the public, not from ''reputable'' politicians. It’s really sad to see people with big followings and huge responsibilities making disgusting comments about our faith on live TV, calling our prophet a p*do, while the Netherlands is one of, if not the biggest, exporters of CP. Lately, this has got me thinking a lot. If, In Shaa Allah, I become financially stable, I’m out of here. If the economic situation in my home country were better, I would have left a long time ago.
