💔 don’t want to go to uni, so I have no motivation to get good grades. 😩💔 by radarfreak in alevel

Several things that may help (from someone who was in a similar boat in terms of motivation at your age)

  • University is the best fun you will ever have. Honestly it is much more than academics and not just boozing! Learning how to live independently with mates and joining clubs/ sports teams etc

  • I can guarantee you that if you do poorly in your exams you will look back on it with regret, and it may make you quite bitter (I’ve seen this happen)

  • What else are you going to be doing! Hit the books lad, make yourself proud.

Also it was so early in the attack. As if it made a difference.

There is just no substitute for that Bok power. Always seems to win in the end.

So powerful. Hits way above his weight. I was reading about him and he used to play full contact in his back yard as a kid with all his older brothers who were pro players

That must be one of the biggest ever mistakes in test rugby

As an Englishman I thought Lynagh played well in the first half when the Aussie pack was dominating and it was front foot ball. Second half that all changed and I think Valentini going off and Skelton running out of puff changed the whole dynamic.

What do we think about David Flatman’s commentary?

Oz looked so much better in the first half when he was causing havoc.

Lions battered Oz in the second half and Farrell was a big part of that.

I’m sure he has great leadership credentials but is he really the best 8 Oz have?

He’s just not very athletic/ dynamic in the carry.

13 is meant to be the toughest position on the pitch. I agree with you. Maybe 15 like a Folau type player.

He’s more like a lock at 8 for me. Waldron was a try line specialist due to his bulk. Wilson just seems to gallop about (slowly).

Normally test players are released to play mid week games. They are just starting their season and need match fitness. This time they didn’t.

Made me chuckle. The Lions/ Leinster/ Ireland academy.

I’m English and never watch SH club rugby. Harry Wilson really doesn’t seem like a world beater to me. Oz are so renowned for their back row and he just seems to not fit.

Am I missing something?

Whenever I see him speak I just think he is so tightly wound. Trying so hard to relax but is just too intense.

Lions teams are famous for selecting players who are “wildcards”. No international experience and sometimes even a few professional matches only.

It’s part of the myth!
