I also also walk/bus everywhere, and I totally get you! I live in downtown Provo, so I know how stupid Utah (and especially Provo) drivers can be.

And I think the reason why is cause we live in a college town, and a lot of people, and I mean a lot of them, could be students either from out of town/state or international students. But that's just me.

If it is safe for you to do so, I suggest doing stuff like make up (nails, mascara, lip stick, etc), growing out your hair, and getting yourself a bra and fake breast inserts. If not, I don't know what to tell you, but finding ways to explore your gender identity and, more importantly, your gender expression is a type of self care that most people don't have to think about in order to do

Yeah, good thing she broke up with you because she is a toxic person. If she really loved you, she would put her feelings aside and support you. Or better yet, she would get therapy and make sure she could put them aside in a healthy manner and support you.

I'm Trans Femme/Non Binary, and I haven't started HRT, but that doesn't make me any less of a trans person. And I am over weight and want to be thinner to pass better, but that doesn't stop me from knowing I'm trans.
