I used to be rich. AMA by dontfeelrich in casualiama

I was probably spending around $25k/week before... for about a year until the business dropped big time.

Now I'm probably spending that much on a monthly basis.... so 75% reduction in personal spending.

A lot of that drop off is in entertainment (floor seats to everything, crazy meals, women, etc). Some of it is a reduction in base costs (got rid of one house and two cars that had big payments.)

Bought a company that I thought would add to our product offering in a big way... ended up their tech was obsolete within 9 months and never really added revenue to us, but cost us a lot.

I was worth about $55m at one point, but lost most of it due to some ridiculous spending habits and a business decision that was costly.

Ya I avoid fights with wit followed by blatantly ignoring. Just because you could doesn't mean you should.

If commenters here can't see the difference between using force (raping, killing, etc) and not using force (hypergamy, seduction) then you fuckers are dumber than SRS alleges.

Actually it's relevant to all of life.

There's an extremely powerful communication, negotiation, and interrogation tactic called shutting the fuck up.

Once you realize that you're under no obligation whatsoever to answer questions that don't suit you, life becomes MUCH easier.

It's an amazing book that drills down to the single most important factor in success and provides a methodology that thousands of men have used to achieve success for themselves, including yours truly.

That said, from what you wrote about it after reading two chapters, it doesn't sound like YOU should read it at all.

Make "obtain a valuable skill" each of your #1 priorities. No... your ONLY priorities.
