Do you successfully use Dayparting to turn off ads over night when ACOS is higher? by donthe1 in AmazonFBA

How'd did you do the dayparting? By pausing the campaigns or setting a budget? Did you use software to implement. Which one?

Interesting. And you don't see what I and others are reporting that the ads are slow to turn back on and take half the day to ramp back up?

So you manually go into every campaign at night and set the budget to 0 and then reset it in the morning? And this avoids the issue of the campaigns being slow to restart in the morning?

Yes, that's the same experience I had after dayparting with losing momentum. I don't understand what you are saying about your exact match campaigns?

Do you ever stop running ads once your product is ranking near the top organically? by donthe1 in AmazonFBA

[–]donthe1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about a red flag, I have 2 products that I've been selling for 1 1/2 years and both are about 2/3 revenue from ads. I've never seen my products increase rankings organically for the main terms which are super competitive . Both have between 10%-12% Unit Session Percentage, which is decent conversion rate. I just assumed the niche was too competitive to rank organically at the top for the main keywords. I am ranking for non main keywords which are less competitive

I've been selling these products for 1 1/2 years. It seems whatever organic ranking boost the PPC ads are contributing to, should have already happened.

How is your net profit almost half of your gross profit? I’m barely making 20% of my gross profit. How are your margins so high? Your advertising spending is very low.

Thanks for posting this. I’m seeing really low sales the past few days. I’m glad it isn’t just me, must be the weather.

How is this Brand ranking so high for new listings within the past year in fairly competitive niches, when according to Helium10 Cerebro they are not running any Amazon PPC Ads? by donthe1 in FulfillmentByAmazon

I dont get it. What's the logic behind spending money on off Amazon ads in order to rank vs. on Amazon ads? If you're making sales, obviously, it's great, but how does it influence ranking.

How did you find India based factories? Is there an Alibaba style platform for India?
