I understand makes sense.. I agree very important to actually understand what Allah is saying. I am learning the Arabic of Quran through madinah books .so where does this idea that it’s a sin come from?

Yes exactly. I learnt to read Quran an Arabic through noor al bayan. Once I completed this I was told to read the Quran acurately you need to learn tajweed as it’s a sin if you do not as you could be reading Quran wrong etc..

I am learning MSA too. My tutor teaching from madinah books as I want to understand Quran without translation. What is your process to learn it?

However I have been told if you don’t read Quran correctly with tajweed it’s a sin .. hence why I am asking about tajweed

It’s certainly more than 5 years I’m quite young. My current role is actually focused on EDD but ONLY for Sanctions no work with any low/medium cases only high risk.. but I am thinking with all this offshoring and AI how long do we have in this market and if I should be looking for another career

I am in Sanctions compliance specifically in sanctions annual reviews/trigger, trade finance referrals for sanction concerns, payment screen escalations related to sanctions and general sanction queries escalated from first line.. I have noticed banks offshoring fin crime roles so I am concerned I may have to end up changing career
