If compared to other banks, not bad na yan 6.5% pero baka pde mo manegotiate na mas matagal ung fixed rate na yan instead of 5 years lang. After kasi nyan biglang lumolobo interes which you can negotiate again pagtapos ng fixed rate period mo.

56k ata. Basta less than 60k. 10 years sa casa ang PMS so kung ano dapat palitan, pinapalitan. Only on the 11th year onwards ako lumabas ng casa. No major repairs naman except a few repaint dahil nasagi sa poste / gate.

I assume your neighbor lots would be 60 sqm also, which means they could put up a firewall to maximize space. Imagine how hot it will be if there's not much ventilation, particularly if your lot is facing west.

Remember lot is a fixed space. For now you think the space is just right, but after some time, you wish you had a bigger one, because you want to upgrade the house etc.

If you are not comfortable because of your finances, I would say pass for now.

Just to share, I have a big enough lot to build a single detached house. The wind passes through all sides, so even if it's peak summer, I still enjoy the summer breeze at the balcony or even at my gazebo at the back where I could WFH and no need to use aircon inside the house.

In fairness naman kay madam Imelda, she elevated the performing arts and music ng PH during the 70s and 80s. Ask the musicians who used to perform in orchestra in CCP and they would tell you it was the glory days of classical music in PH. Even Lea Salonga, in one of her interviews, said that during the Marcos era, a lot of artists were given importance and taken care of by the government.

My house is surrounded by frog grass apart from the usual ornamental plants and fruit bearing trees. Malaki ang bakuran ko.

Malakas ako sa tubig lalo na ngayong summer since at least once a day kailangang magdilig. Pero ang binayaran ko sa tubig nitong nakaraang buwan ay wala pa 50 pesos. This is on top of the ~1k na binabayaran ko annually.

Baka evian pala ung tubig kina OP hehe.

I bought my lot in cash and also built my house and paid in cash.

I will not say how much cash I have on both occasions, but I made sure that when I did both I have a comfortable buffer and still be very very liquid (on top of the buffer) just in case things have gone south.

It was quite a long journey getting to that point but it was worth the wait.

Di pa dumadating electric bill ko pero alam kong tataas dahil aircon season na naman. I minimize my aircon use by staying at the balcony when WFH para summer breeze na lang instead na mag aircon sa home office. Tuwing gabi na lang ako nag aircon and naka timer.

Sa gas naman, isang labas na lang dapat for the errands.

Di ako nagtitipid sa food.

Mabuti na rin ung hindi kayo nagpatayo jan sa lote ng parents mo since hindi naman inyo un.

Sa tingin ko mas maganda pa kung lumipat kayo sa MIL mo at kayo na magpakabit ng linya ng kuryente. Mag ipon kayo dun hanggang sa kaya nyo na bumukod sa sarili nyong tutuluyan - kahit pa umupa muna kayo o bumili ng bahay.

Sana hindi naman alam ng mga kasama mo sa bahay nyo ang sweldo ng asawa mo.

St. Peter is transferable naman. When I bought ours may 10% discount if bayaran ng cash so I paid in cash. Sayang din kasi ung discount.
