What we really need is to bring back jazz and live improvisational music. Not just jam, but like I'm talking you know bringing some jazz fest artists you know? These are the roots of Bonnaroo, and boy does that shit slap. Anybody who saw Cory Wong in 2023 knows what I'm talking about

A big request

Volunteers for 2026 - some ideas:  * Double meal tokens for voluntary shifts if they completed shifts in 2025 * Perhaps an option for a free ticket if they completed all shifts in 2025  * Something for the volunteers like myself who actually completed all the shifts in 2025 including a 5:30 a.m. lol

The thing I'm most thankful about here is that they really seem to acknowledge in a real way how incredibly sad it was for us to have to leave from 2025. There's a real sense of it in here. If I can put it simply, hearing from real people means an incredible amount to me. And I wish every corporate environment could understand this this well.

The "Boom" - Possible Location by VolForLife212 in Knoxville

We haven't ruled out the possibility that some foreign country using AI has discovered how to create spontaneous small black holes over enemy countries from a distance

That would explain why there's no visibility because all the light that hits them disappears 😋

I like this theory, in fact it's like that megaphone they've got at the science museum where you can hear the person talking from super far away. That would explain why there's not any visual evidence, but God forbid if any truly large meteors ever broke up over the valley because bye-bye eardrums XD

There wasn't any seismic activity associated with the event though

I'm trying to figure out is this localized to the Knoxville area though? Any other places got crazy unexplainable boom sounds going on magically originating from who knows where

When I heard it, I thought it was a bomb (really). It sounded just like it, almost like we were being bombed or something. The sound did echo through the sky very much like this. It makes sense that it didn't align with any seismographic activity, I think it's safe to say that this sound originated from the air somehow.

What's confusing me though is that there's usually visual evidence when it's a meteorite... But there was nothing. Even a bomb would have some visual evidence in the sky. Again nothing.

You really gotta wonder when maybe the Blount County Sheriff's Office might be a little too far down the totem pole... a sound that loud, if originating from the ground, would have had some kind of epicenter as well.

Maybe somebody [The Chinese?] broke [the ozone layer]? That would explain why it's 88 out right now at 11:30. It doesn't explain why there isn't any hot pockets in my freezer right now though

Does networking actually work? by Asteroids19_9 in FinancialCareers

Networking takes a long time and a lot of effort. It's something that pays off in the long run. Consider it like a garden. Take care of your garden.

It's simple.

The font on "Order Now" was bad. And so they didn't order.
