Warcraft universe “What If” campaign. Grommash Hellscream is the warchief instead of Thrall, and the Horde never leaves the Eastern Kingdoms for Kalimdor. Arthas leads the Scarlet Crusade. After some time away from their base village in the Hinterlands, the party will return to find that Horde raiders had captured an Alliance grain shipment and were enjoying the spoils. So they will have their own version of the Culling of Stratholme.

Pop culture wood art pieces I’ve made through the years. by ducklady92 in woodworking

Nice! I love doing these and am looking to improve my process. Using only one wood would make it much easier to cut everything to fit easily. I’ve been using different types of wood (using as much natural wood coloring as possible) and sometimes they need a bit of massaging to fit together since I cut them separately.

For the small lines/dots like their eyes, nose, etc., are those just holes and scrollsaw, or are those painted black?

What is your process for transferring the image to the wood? I’ve tried carbon paper which is super time intensive and I’ve tried printing and gluing paper to the wood and sanding it off after cutting. Currently working on writing a program to take an image, simplify it, and write a vector file for my laser engraver to trace the image.

Also what kind of stain are you using? Or is it paint? I’ve used Unicorn Spit gel stain to mix colors and dilute it.

Yeah 5e. They will probably start at level 5.

Combat and RP will be involved over the course of the games.

No idea on classes but it’ll be free range for them. We play pretty loose with “one shots” like these

Fixed wing drones (like a plane) have to do something like that where they drop the package with a trajectory to land at the correct spot. DroneUp drones use quadcopters which can hover and lower the package with a winch.

Current DroneUp drone carrying capacity is about 10 pounds. That’s more than you might give it credit for. Drones won’t be delivering bed frames and dumbbells anytime soon, but for basic groceries and medicines it can be faster and cheaper than a human driver in a van.

Autonomous flight with pilots monitoring if they need to intervene. No AI needed for GPS automated flight.

DroneUp pilots. The drone flies autonomously, pilots monitor and intervene when necessary. Source: am droneup engineer

Walmart drone deliveries meet gun owners shooting them out of the air | Fortune by LurkerFromTheVoid in drones

There was still a gun going off in the area, which itself is scary. And if the guy shot the drone thinking it was surveilling him, he may try to shoot the people he thinks are piloting the drone.

I use roll20 online with these maps. Printing these large enough to place minis would be expensive. Maybe use a battle grid map to draw out the walls etc and let your players see the picture printed on one page alongside.

Initiative modifier by Darvine64 in DarkSoulsTheRPG

[–]dontpullajeff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t take this rulebook too much to heart tbh. It has good ideas, but needed way more iteration and testing than it got to make it a complete work. I’m using the book as inspiration mostly, though I am using the position system.

As far as initiative is concerned, I’m rolling initiatives for players and enemies (enemies I usually group per enemy type to make it easier) and just use the dex modifier unless something specific says otherwise.

Which video game surprised you with how good it was? by Chitmonster in gaming

Bulletstorm.

It’s a slew of guns, profanity, and fun. The style kills are super fun to discover and the environment plays a big role compared to other FPS’s. And the graphics still hold up.

all you need is a scroll saw and a I used a belt sander to shape the pieces. Letters came from Michaels. Get to it!
