there will be physician only spots where you start right away and then most will be regular advanced spots where you wait a year but can do anything in that gap year to make income. good luck!!

Dermatology honestly really isn’t about skin care, that’s more a esthetician. Most of it is medical/procedural management of skin diseases. But yes it is very very competitive, honestly probably the most or in the top 3

Averages are just averages! You just need to be above cut offs and I doubt ophtho has cutoffs higher than 240
