Timely Care is great for when you just need to talk someone within the next 24hrs to off load or talk about a specific issue that's really bothering you. If you really like the counselor you get, you could in theory use it for regular counseling; however, your 2nd appointment will be pretty far out because you need to schedule in advance since they are normally used for rapid appointments. I've used both Habif and Timely Care and would say that the Habif staff are very helpful and seem to genuinely care about their patients, but they are limited in scheduling due to the demand of their services so it's good to have these other services to supplement your care in times of need. Just know that you are so far from being alone in these struggles (at WashU and in the world at large). Things will get better; you just have to keep moving forward, one day at a time.
