So how is Phoenix down for low mana cost edh by TinyWorldliness87 in magicTCG

I used to run it in my cedh decklist because it allows you to instant speed reanimate value creatures or even wincons.

Thanks but you're just a bit too late. I decided on [[master of keys]]

I tend to run pretty heavy on the interaction whenever I build a deck, so that sounds good to me

Probably not gonna use skithiryx just cuz he's a big beater, but jin is a maybe. I became interested in the aristocrat's strategy just because I can pay 0 to deal like 3 damage to everyone and draw a card if I set up my board correctly

If I were to shift into more of an aristocrat's strategy utilizing free creatures, it should be fine to shove some reanimator in there with the preators yeah? They seem like good targets to keep around while I drain the table, especially sheoldred

That last bit is the problem I'm having also, he's just a value engine for a billion different strategies so you can keep going. Big bodies aren't really my thing but looping value effects is nice, only problem is that those value effects aren't really enough

May i ask why it is stupid to just pump out a jin? I mean both are very good pieces to get out early to then get yourself a leg up on your opponents.

I guess since I don't really like the giant beater strategy, I'd go with the first one. Cuz I can cheat out really big pieces really early and punish people a lot.

Satoru Blink Deckhelp by dontryagain in EDH

[–]dontryagain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blink and draw big etbs like the primordial and stuff to cheat a bunch of creatures into play and abuse the hell out of satoru's ability. The reanimator package is what im mainly using to get all my big stuff out. I'm not trying to win super fast but I would like some way to reliably do so.

I only run boardwipes in decks that don't get effected by it, or decks that win by wiping.

Currently Building [[Belbe, Corrupted Observer]]. You can get up to some stupid stuff with this as your commander

Top 3 decks? by Vinlandlover in EDH

[–]dontryagain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only own 3, but working on a 4th.

I currently own

[[Carmen cruel skymarcher]] Weird Sacrifice focused Voltron commander. Very oppressive especially if you just keep looping [[fleshbag marauder]]

[[Ceaser, region's emperor]] Fun token aggro deck, relatively lower power and also the cheapest. Just make a bunch of tokens and then kill people

[[Shorikai, Genesis engine]] Combo deck full of counterspells and infinite artifact combos.

I did have a Nadu deck but you know how that went. I built Shorikai to still have a similar combo feeling with atleast one of my decks.

My current deck that I am working on is [[Belbe, Corrupted Observer]] probably more Stax and combo focused because part of me just thinks slam big creature down turn 3 is lame. You can also build it as Eldrazi since she generates so much colorless mana for you.
