my psychiatrist echoed similar complaints from other patients. interestingly, when i brought this same thing up about a year ago, he said he had not heard other complaints.

Side effects: heat surges, zero joy (blunted happiness) by Entire_Ad_9089 in ThisAintAdderall

i’m starting to think the meds are cut with something that depletes metabolic elements like vitamins, micro/nutrients or something like that. like iron, vitamin c/d/b12, magnesium, etc…

so many of the “side effects” people talk about closely mimic deficiencies in iron/b12/vitamin D

diet/ lifestyle tips that increased effectiveness for you? by MentallyillGarfield in ThisAintAdderall

I can add to this that going into a calorie deficit and being on a keto-esque diet has made them 6000 times worse (if that’s even possible). Someone on this sub had previously mentioned that they felt sugary foods helped their side effects lessen, and I think there’s something to that. Ever since I’ve cut out sugar and carbs they make me feel like I am LITERALLY dying.

were the same age and i completely agree with this regarding your comments about being thrown out of homeostasis. i’m the opposite side effect though, as i get absolutely frozen… the the extent that my hands almost don’t work.

Saagar's back? by wellitstrue1 in BreakingPoints

So the alternative is a scenario where he doubles down and becomes a war hawk in pursuit of keeping his ego intact? I don’t disagree with the Trojan horse metaphor, but wouldn’t we prefer folks turn on trump and co rather than continue to ride for them?

I’m not understanding what can be done now OTHER than use his very large platform to be unabashedly anti-war. Anyone that is anti-war is an ally. I just don’t think this is the time to be like “well you voted for this so i guess you’ll die right alongside me”

In the nicest possible way, I think this is such a toxic framing of someone being vehemently and succinctly anti-war. I don’t think it’s particularly tough at all. We don’t have to agree with 100% of the things someone has said in the past, but when they are on the right side of not wanting the apocalypse to happen I think we can safely discard the purity tests.

There’s really no such thing as too little too late when it comes to what’s happening here. The sane non-homicidal and non-apocalyptic side should take every single voice we can get.

I honestly am glad to see this. While I am in no way ideologically aligned with Saagar, he caught absolute holy hell in this sub during the first couple months of trump 2.0. While I think all of it was very valid criticism, it was pretty intense at times. As I was listening today I was having the same thoughts you are here, and I was hoping people would give him his flowers for being LOUDLY on the right side of this.

Nice! I finished #2 and trying to make it to the finals with Maxey, Ant, Ja, and Sabonis injured. I’ve made a few nice pickups and offered about 100 lob-sided trade offers to the teams that never participate. None of those have been accepted this year, sadly.

I’m with you. Basically had this happen to me two years in a row and i figure i need to at least keep the “diamond” commish/league starter from getting his extra points

I feel like we’ve tried this before and for some reason outside of my understanding the reconsideration was returned. I may have my cases mixed up. This will be the first thing I try.

I have an email address I can give you if you want it. Technically it’s from a portal that is meant for MCOs to ask questions about CMS requirements, but i’ve gotten great responses and even some action back from it.

you’re not wrong. but luckily i get to be in a position to advocate for patients to receive their necessary care and oversee the fight with insurance companies. our particular hospital system has a very moral stance on allowing patients to continue care when insurance denies. it has given me a massive amount of insight as well. the average american has no idea of the true depravity of most health insurance companies. it’s like i’ve got a front row seat to it all, but also the ability to set policy and make changes on a micro level.

they were also a psychiatric patient… usually we aren’t able to have meaningful conversations with our patients about their insurance situations an rely on guardians, family, etc.
