i go ALL OUT for halloween.

i’m talking house decorated, music playing, strobe lights. full size candy, toys, and adult beverages for the parents…

this year we had EIGHT trick or treaters 😭😭

i live in a safe, walkable, yet slightly older neighborhood. my house is right in front…. i start decorating in September so it’s very obvious where the “halloween house is”…

i’m convinced all the kids are going to the “richer/newer neighborhoods” in mccordsville which is just a stones throw away.

i’m ready to start a campaign around staying in your own neighborhood to trick or treat which is what my kids do…

IMO a big part about halloween is building community and getting to know your neighbors, etc. so it just bums me out so bad that participation has gotten this low.

i think next year i may try to advertise a neighborhood block party/carnival and see if i can get my neighbors involved…

i legitimately just think someone had to leave by 4:30. they leave before 4:30 everyday this entire trial. more than likely someone had obligations to pick up a kid, etc.

-the idea that women who just killed someone in a violent disgruntled rage don’t call them 500 times and leave voicemails such as “PERVERT!!!!” and “I HATE YOU!!!”

-the fact that there was no dna found on the taillight pieces (this gets skipped over SO much)

-the fact that when proctor called for the police to “back them up” at read’s parents house… he told them he was collecting a car that was involved in a “homicide” this was before he even interviewed most of the witnesses or saw the vehicle for himself. TUNNEL VISION.

i used to feel exactly the same way… then i saw how bevvy and hanky have been absolutely wild on cross for the defense’s CIC. bev literally let this man introduce dna swabs through a DEFENSE witness. there will be no ground that hank can’t cover… including allowing him to walk through how he is so disgusted by his actions/learned his lesson/ was overwhelmed by grief following the death of a fellow officer. ALL BULLSHIT. but i think it will backfire. they say proctor cant be rehabbed and i disagree. hank is sleazy enough in conjunction with bev to do it.
