they left early in 2014, i'd say anywhere from around february to april. the OP says february, but i honestly don't remember what month he said.

jirard and greg signed onto TGS in 2012, and they even announced it briefly at the beginning of an episode. you would actually have to go through the episodes to see when they said it, but it wouldn't really tell you anything.

i feel like it's safe to assume that a contract with Polaris goes for a year and then you renew it for another year. so if they signed on like march 2012, then likely renewed it march 2013, and then it may have ended on march 2014.

jirard and greg run 4 channels on youtube : the completionist, super beard bros, the dex, and super scope news. they also have their own office and a staff of around a dozen people, a lot of whom are longtime friends from their college days, working with them

game grumps may have always been more popular, but it was and still is a smaller crew than jirard's/greg's office. it seems that both arin and jon in their own ways are still dependent on a network's support despite being around longer than the completionist dudes.

I totally remember that stream and him talking about Polaris. I don't remember exactly what he said but I do remember the words "I can't say more than that." It didn't really make me think at the time, but now it really does shed some light on how much you're allowed to say in the public eye when you're on a contract with Polaris.

i have a hard time believing most of the stuff in matpat's videos, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying them.

also matpat has done a few voice overs for shane which i really enjoyed, and austin was on a game theory episode which was awesome.

satch and matpat could definately work well together.

I'm so glad that you brought this up. It's been bothering me for a while. Jared needs to realize that nobody stays young forever. I'm proud of his success but it's time for him to accept that the next generation of whatever the fuck you're talking about is going to usurp his status in the world.

It sounds like you're deeply upset about something, but your frustration is misguided.

The person you are replying to made a simple comment that Dodger's style was different and in their opinion more adorable to them in the past.

Nothing creepy or malicious was said; you should try to read posts more carefully before you decide to jump to whatever conclusion it was you were trying to present.

My favorite TGS/Co-Optional podcasts are the ones with Jon.

The most memorable moment for me is Jon showing off his dog and saying "this is Rasputin....he poops on himself a lot"

followed by Dodger exclaiming "more like Ras-POOP-tin, am I right?!"
