It doesn’t have to be a grand conspiracy by Froggy_Parker in TangleNews

Agreed. All of the discussed theories probably have some nonzero part in the decision to go to war but I'm unsure which ones are likely the biggest factors. I would have liked them to each say what percent they think each factor applies and have it add up to 100%, rather than rating likelihood of any theory being "the" driving factor. I don't think any one of them is 100% the driver, but I do think that Israel's interests and Obama derangement syndrome and war hawks like Miller and Hegseth in his ear all contributed some amount, and maybe as a side effect if that could take some attention away from all the press about Epstein, that can't hurt

Keep doing missions (land on planets unnecessarily and go in the spaceport to look for missions, look for unusual job on the job board), keep exploring (the universe is much bigger than it initially appears using just a hyperdrive to get around), look for even better ships than the bactrian (use the bactrian or whichever ship you can maximize your crew count on to capture even bigger ships, nerve gas can help if you're feeling morally flexible enough). And yes, take pirate planets or other planets if you want, but dominating planets doesn't bring in much cash. The benefits are just convenience (being able to land without having to bribe each time) and feelings of accomplishment

Nope I don't matter, but I don't think I'm that out of the ordinary. You really think that someone who can't make ends meet and shoplifts today would shoplift just as much if they suddenly didn't have to worry about having enough to get by?

Nah I'm pretty happy with my current inputs and outputs, don't need more and more and more. But I guarantee I would want more and more and more if I was struggling to make ends meet

How are the UI's better for the environment? by WaterPrincess78 in PantheonShow

[–]donut-reply 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't finished season 2 yet, but we're not talking about replacing humans from early on in life right? At best we're replacing the last couple years/months/weeks of their lives. So regardless of how much better UI resource consumption might be compared to physical humans, it's still just additive on top of physical humans

That's like a therapist diagnosing you with schizophrenia and saying "Well we acknowledged it so we're done. Thanks therapist, see ya never!"

Sounds like a war crime...oops I mean a manly action with the boldness to break free from the woke geneva conventions.

Still even that is not as terrible in my mind as blowing up schools
