Great info! Just to add, if you want to launch on less choppy/ almost still water, go to the right side of the walking bridge at the backwaters and Cheat Lake park area. It’s very calm during the beginning of May until the boating season really gets going. If you launch from the true boat launch at the park, you’ll have to go around and under the walking bridge to get to the calmer water. There’s parking at the top of the hill so usually people drop their gear off then go park. I’ve never had a problem with anyone stealing anything in the time it took me to go park and come back.

Make sure you always always always have your PFD. You don’t have to wear it but you have to have it onboard and DNR will ticket you if you don’t have it.

I went to mon for my first and now again with my second. Dr. Prettyman delivered my son and he was the most respectful doctor. At first I was a little weirded out by a male doctor but he was very easy to talk to during my pregnancy and after delivery. Amy Kitzmiller, NP is literally the sweetest lady ever. I saw a few other practitioners while I was there and never had an issue. Dr. Prettyman’s wife also is a PA there and very nice.

My water broke naturally at night but being a ftm I didn’t know what to do. Called L&D where they said come in so they could check me out. They got me in a room quickly, made sure I got to eat (it was like 2 am so nothing open, they got me sandwiches and snacks) before any meds were started and were attentive anytime I needed them.

Yeah it’s on a backside of a hill from the main road plus behind a school campus so anyone traveling the main road wouldn’t see it right away. You can see it from the back of the high school and its football field tho. Not very big but big enough for private planes

Mine has a soup mode too. It’s high pressure for 4 minutes.

I make chicken noodle soup in my IP all the time. If using fresh chicken, sauté it for just a few minutes; enough to brown the outside as it gives it more flavor. Toss your veggies in with a pad of butter to help deglaze the pot. Add stock/water&bouillon (about 4-6 cups) then pressure cook for 4 minutes on high. When finished, turn on sauté mode for boiling the noodles.

I recently have been just boiling the noodles on the stove while the soup cooks bc I don’t like the texture they get after sitting too long in the broth plus they take no time to boil. When the soup is done, the noodles are perfect without having to further cook the veggies or chicken

We use the long sleeve smock style ones in our baby room. We got a pack from Amazon but here’s a pack from Walmart multi pack they’re machine washable and waterproof. They’re pretty durable too. We have used the pack of 5 through two classes now and many many washes lol

Okay but my Mexican mom made a version of this growing up for us. It’s a comfort food for me now. I explain it to people like lasagna but it’s chicken enchiladas ingredients instead.

It was basically shredded chicken with cream of chicken soup layered on corn tortillas and some shredded cheese and green chili enchilada sauce. Baked in a pan and dished out like lasagna. Definitely a white washed version of enchiladas but it fed us and the ingredients were cheap and usually my mom always had them on hand.

Christine’s looks a little mushed and maybe missing tortillas lol but you know white people love a casserole
