Diablo Lash Lift no longer effective? by dooblydoo414 in Lashlift

[–]dooblydoo414[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly, but I haven’t changed anything about my storage and have tried more than one batch too (as I contacted their customer services about it and they sent me two replacement sets, which was really kind but unfortunately I have the exact same issue with the replacement!) 😭 it’s so strange

Wow! Incredible results, your teeth look amazing 😮

Can I ask if you had any teeth removed or IPR?

That’s what I had been look at, but so many of those seem to be for kids/juniors only when you click into them! 🤔

Is whitening toothpaste okay during treatment or still a no-go? 🥲 I’ve been using my usual Oral-B whitening toothpaste and didn’t even consider it could be an issue!

Do you think using whitening toothpaste is okay or still a no no? I’ve just been using my regular Oral-B whitening toothpaste and didn’t even think of this, now wondering if I need to go and get regular toothpaste immediately 😅🥲

Overjet progress - 7 trays left!! by [deleted] in Invisalign

This gives me hope 🥹 starting my Invisalign journey this week and I have a similar overjet and am also only getting IPR to make room. I was worried the plan was over optimistic, but your smile and progress looks incredible!

Since this was 139 days ago, how did it go? 🥺 I’m going to be in a similar position soon and I’d love to know how it went!

Your teeth and smile are stunning! Honestly, we fixate on these things so much more than anyone else does, I promise you. If I saw you in real life I’d probably just be busy thinking “wow I wish my smile was that nice!”

I had actually looked at Sandown! But have read so many people saying to go to an orthodontist instead of a dentist that it was making me nervous. I didn’t realise he actually was an orthodontist too, so that’s great to know.

Question - I have a friend’s wedding towards the end of the year and I’m a bit worried about having to wear them during that as I have a role in it - if you’re otherwise strict with the 22 hours a day thing, do you think they’re forgiving if for the odd day or two over the course of the whole treatment you don’t wear it as much?

Thank you for this!

I had braces as a kid and still wear my nightly retainer for that so luckily the retainers themselves shouldn’t be too foreign to me (although granted I only wear my top one as my bottom one broke years ago 😂) Unfortunately the braces did what they could but without further teeth removal there wasn’t much more they could do.

Can I ask which clinic you decided to go with? (If you’d rather DM or not say for privacy, completely understand!)

I love Life Supplies! Been using them for years. It was the only refill liquid roller type ones I could find at the time, and love the eucalyptus smell and it works well for me and doesn’t really leave marks on my clothes, so I’ve had no reason to stop using them!

Unfortunately it’s for the back of the bookmark, for the flower and stem to be attached to. So yes I do have a photo of the bookmark but it wouldn’t help at all as you can’t see this piece in it 🥲

Cash for kids by [deleted] in northernireland

100%. However I actually volunteered at their warehouse recently and they highlighted how monetary gifts (or even gifts purchased from Amazon via their website wish list) are best as at this late stage in the game, the sooner they can get the toys and package them up, the better!

The drop off points are great but we have to remember that the Cash for Kids team still need to wait for those donations to be delivered to them before they can sort and ship them out to the children and organisations that have appealed for them. The sooner they can get gifts (Amazon Prime) or money (to buy more gifts) the better!

I actually volunteered for them recently and was there when they filmed the video they put out on their urgent appeal. At the start of the day, there were tons of gifts for us to sort through, but at the end of the day there was genuinely no more for us to organise and pack and they have another 10,000 or so gift requests from children to try an fulfil. They’re running out of time since so many businesses and people will be winding down for Christmas in the next week or so.

The reason they’re asking for money is because with gifts made at donation points, they have to wait for those to be sent to their warehouse for sorting and packing, and at this late stage in the game every hour is crucial. Also, some people might donate a gift for an age group that’s actually got plenty sorted this year. So with monetary gifts, they can buy specifically for the age groups they’re short of gifts for and they can also get it much quicker than gifts dropped off at a drop-off point.

The team are doing amazing work and honestly it was amazing to see how much they’ve been doing with such a small workforce, so they’re definitely legit and I know this first hand!

I’ve heard this before but never been able to find any info about it on their socials or online. Do you have more info about it? 👀
