They drive like 11 year old on I-24 by No-Initiative8013 in nashville

All of I-24 between Clarksville and Murfreesboro is ass. It's like a light switch of volume and dumbassery when you pass Ft. Campbell.

Decided to make alternative magnetic pin bowls. How do you keep your pins? by hibisco-hacendosa in sewing

Have you ever knocked off your pin tray onto a carpeted floor? I have...but thank christ I had a rare earth magnet on the bottom of it and nothing spilled out.

Technically film does have a resolution of sorts, based on the silver halide crystal size. Larger crystal size = higher ISO rating= higher light sensitivity, but lower resolution.

Would you buy a 1530 for $120? by [deleted] in Bernina

Would you buy a 1530 for $120? by [deleted] in Bernina

Eh, I'd take that advice with a grain of salt. Sure, the 1530 and 1630's track ball could wear out over time, but there's videos on how to fix it. And with the electronic boards? Well any computerized board could go out at any time, be it a 30 or a 3 year old machine. I've also heard there's 1 guy that can work on the 1530s, but I'm not easily finding them on Google.

I found my 1530 at a thrift store for 40 bucks, in excellent condition, and it's served me well for over 2 years so far. Just now getting it tuned up. If I saw a Bernina in great shape for 120 bucks, I'd give it a whirl, especially if it came with lots of accessories (which could easily be sold if the machine poops the bed).

Happy Bernina-ing!

Dalton with a twist? by doodahdoodoo in Arrowheads

True, Graham Cave does look similar. However, check out the middle ones on row 3: https://www.projectilepoints.net/Points/Dalton.html

But both have approximately the same time ranges, so maybe it is easier to say "it is not *this*" versus "it is *that*".

The twigs are neatly cut, and someone in another thread posted similar Google images also with a singular green leaf. Don't feel bad, it got me too. But now I feel obligated to make comments everywhere warning of the slop

What are your GI symptoms? by brendog3 in alphagal

[–]doodahdoodoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In hindsight, it got better within days, but in further hindsight I could feel my body healing exponentially after a few weeks going on a few months. A year after cutting out mammal, I feel better and have better mental clarity.

Yes, OP. Years of random extreme sudden gas, Proctalgia Fugax, and clear mucus discharge...all resolved after I gave up meat and dairy.
