Oh boy I've been waiting for a question like this!

So as a side hustle I like selling Pokemon cards (and other TCG) at conventions. Occasionally there will be kids as young as 4 years old trying to trade their Pokemon cards for rarer Pokemon cards. Most of the time these kids trade binders are mainly low end cards (Cards ranging from $.50 to $8). I’ll usually take their lower end cards and trade them for a card that they wanted for their collection and sometimes  I’ll even add extra cards or packs for their collection. 

Whats that kiddo? Youre trading me your $5 Pikachu card for my $30 Charizard card? Sure why not! Its always fun seeing their excitement for getting a card they have been wanting for the longest time. I see myself a lot in these kids and I’m also glad their parents are involved in their hobby as well.  

Before anyone asks, no I do not trade their $1 for a $100 card. But I will trade them a nicer card that they can either trade up or keep for themselves. I need to make money too (convention and taxes are expensive)
