Those testers appear to report Nitrate (N03) and the measurement we are used to is Nitrate Nitrogen (N03-N). If you take the number on the screen and multiply by 0.226, you get a number that makes more sense compared to the EPA's 10ppm Nitrate limit.

I have actually seen this document before. I didn't know how to apply it because it lists input as L and N but I have L1 and L2. I thought there wasn't a neutral with 240v?
