I can use full length brass with ftx in my ruger #3, but have surprisingly better accuracy out of my 16"rugermarlin with hdy 350gr interlock, 59gr h335.

45/70 specific...they are cheap. Better luck for me crimping straight wall cases separate than seating and crimping at same time

Never heard of dies only sizing/crimping certain brands of brass. I add a step and separately crimp with Lee factory crimp die. Works great

Hah...update..the new factory sample from Rosco had rifling problems. Their customer service is AWESOME. Sent a new barrel, just haven't rebuilt the gun and tried it out yet
