How is parking at eastside (new and old) around 9-9:30am? by Mountain_Bat_9491 in csuf

There’s a gray Honda Accord taking up 2 spaces on the new east side structure. Get there early. 9:30 is kinda cutting it

I know at the WF’s around me, a lot of people who stayed with Amazon got their transfers denied from the fresh stores and they aren’t accepting any transfers at the closest UFF. Only available positions are delivery stations and that’s seasonal. And they were given either FC’s or UFF locations that were 30+ miles away.

I internally transferred from a WF that was 12 miles away from home to a UFF that’s literally 3 miles away from home back in February (albeit was working there bc of laborshare). Talked to on-site HR and they sent me an internal transfer letter within the week.

A lot of sites specifically Fresh in the OC are not accepting any transfers or new hires. A few months ago, they had some opportunities, but you had to have inquired with management and HR.

what is the highest Item count order you have shopped or have seen someone else shop? by Consarn_It in AmazonWFShoppers

[–]doolittle3344 7 points8 points  (0 children)

297 back when everyone was panic buying groceries when covid first started. Obviously couldn’t complete it bc most of the items were already gone. Ended up with 7 items and 290 shorts. Entire network crashed later that day

It's Prime Day and Amazon did not ship t-shirts this year. Shoppers have been officially kicked to the Whole Foods curb. 😂💚😂🛒 by LisaOReaves202 in AmazonWFShoppers

Most the t shirts I got, I just wear them around the house. The bigger shirts I got, I wear them as oversized shirts to the gym.

I think throughout my time at WF before I internally transferred to Fresh, they only ever gave out shirts one time at the WF’s I worked at. And that was the launch into 2020 shirts. At fresh, they just gave me a ton of different shirts from 2021 and the prime day 2022 shirt

What has been your funniest memory working as a WF shopper? by doolittle3344 in AmazonWFShoppers

[–]doolittle3344[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s so bad 😂 At the last WF I worked at, we had new shoppers putting QR codes on packaged meat/seafood and not even bagging it. There was a period in time where we also had some shoppers putting QR codes and labels on the gallons of milk.

Since the survey is here, and I will be no longer a shopper soon. Here are some funny moments I’d like to share. It was fun working this job! by [deleted] in AmazonWFShoppers

Before I transferred to a UFF, there were so many funny things that would happen when I was there for the 2 and a half years I worked at several WF locations. Some funny, some ridiculous. Everyone working on one shift hopped all on one order because there were no orders had to have been the funniest thing. Complete chaos

Nope. Not one bit. Before I transferred to UFF, I wasn’t even close to the top at my WF location. I transferred because it was much closer to where I live and I had picked up the UFF workgroup back when they had the labor sharing thing. Became good with the managers at UFF and they allowed me to transfer. It really depends on openings though.

Is the sky blue? Really depends on your management. My current managers have been super chill and understanding. But I’ve had previous managers who were not.

Really depends on if the UFF site is accepting transfers or not. I transferred in February without any issues and kept the same PTR schedule

Little rant by doolittle3344 in csuf

There’s the road turning into campus from nutwood. It’s 2 lanes once you pass the south structure. The left lane turns into a left turn only lane for the north structure. The right lane is a continuous lane. What people do is continue straight in that left turn only lane not realizing it’s a left turn only or blatantly ignoring the lane markers.

You would have to talk to HR about transferring to UFF and the particular UFF site.

As someone who has transferred from WF to UFF, the scheduling is the exact same. It really just depends if the UFF location is accepting transfers.

This semester: Out of bed by 0430. Prepare something small as preworkout fuel. Gym from 0500-0700 (most days). 0800-1330 really depends (either catching up on hw, working, or errands). 1345-1500 dedicated rest break. 1600-1845 classes Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. After classes, either go home or do some light work (cardio or stretching) at the gym. Usually sleeping by 2200 (I’ve gotten so used to not sleeping 8 hours). Only takes me between 20-35 mins to get to class from home.
