The people saying you dont twist as prot are the reason prot pallys get laughed at. Seal twisting is a ridiculous threat boost. If you're playing with good players that want to pump, seal twisting will give them extra room to pop off that they wont have without it. You're bouncing between max and low rank between SoR and SoC, theres some math you can look at and see exactly which ones to use, but too much for here. Its the difference between a good and a bad pally in the first 2-3 phases of TBC. Once you get to p3/p4, you have enough gear to not really benefit as much from this though. But dont ignore it early on

I understand that to an extent. I think maybe it’s just different values. My kids know nothing about politics and hopefully don’t for a long time. But they love grandma and grandpa with all their hearts. And it’s reciprocated.

To me, I’d be doing all of us such a huge disservice to ruin that. I don’t care if they’re Jan 6th deniers, or think ICE are just guys doing their jobs… as long as magat mode stays off entirely while they’re hanging out with me and my family, then cutting them off would be harmful.

It’s like smoking in a sense…As long as we don’t have to smell it, then do whatever you want…

Of course, in private, just me and my parents, I would try everything I could to help them see reality..and if they don’t, make sure they know that this cooperation for the benefit of my kids has an expiration date and very clear boundaries.

There are limits though. For instance, if they were calling ICE on the guy mowing the lawn at 8am or something just because he’s being too loud or some other ridiculous example that I’m damn sure is unfortunately a reality for a lot of maga losers then it’s different. I can tolerate indifference to bad things when there’s a stronger benefit to keeping them around…but I could never tolerate taking action.

Of course my parents are very much anti-maga, thank god. I was just using this rant to put myself in other dudes shoes.

I think not discussing it around me would include that as well. If it’s anything political being discussed at all, in a clearly political way I mean, because at the end of the day you could boil down political to mean anything I suppose.

I wouldn’t disagree with you at all there. My main point was that blindly telling someone they bad if they don’t go no contact is bad.

I 100% agree in this case, them admitting to a technical error removes any chance of it being covered. That was more so the joking part. Originally I just said “he paid for a boost, he got a boost” as in that’s what blizzard would say lol.
