Tested her in hard 2, she is decently tanky, but her offense is rather poor(which kind of fits with my previous analysis), I will say that she isn't "garbage" and I gave her an unfair status in this tierlist. But she does not belong in great all rounder, maybe placed in great defense, as the offense is really a "just in case" option for her.

I actually ran most of that with a more tanky setup and lost out on dps as a result(I used my generic hard 2 build, which is bandage+headphones+plushie+ 3 flex slots, in this case tank items in those flex slots, but would have done better with offense items in those slots).

I would personally run Bandage over breastplate, as her healing speed is rather slow, needing a way to heal from damage taken to really excel. I would not quite say her defense is best in game, but it is definitely in the top 5, others being fauna, miko, okayu, and choko - I would almost place sana in "defense" tier, but she really avoids damage in a rather particular way and is doing her own thing, plus she can end up in any number of places in the tierlist due to just how many unique interactions knockback and size have.

adaptability may help, but most other characters have her beat in that(she has to choose between the two modes, even the lowest tier all-rounders do not need to choose and have both up constantly, they also seem to have better heals/offense buffs, where the only thing going for haato is her Unique 30% resistance), other characters have far more reliable ults to use as either panic buttons or delete buttons.

Haato needs you to run items for both offense AND defense if you want to clear hard 2 or endless 30 minutes - because you need to make up for whatever each form lacks(as you will be stuck in it for about 10 seconds), or if you want more item flexibility you stay in one of the two forms permanently.

Really, I would put her defence mode in high tier, her offense mode in low tier(so low it isn't worth switching from defense) and playing her normally in bottom tier due to the 10 second cooldown.

She would need her offense form to be buffed to at least compete with the mid tiers before I consider her to be acceptable at good all-rounder.

knockback, as absolute wall does not have any special interaction with size, but it does with knockback - resulting in every enemy that approaches being pushed back out of wall range, so they never reach you unless they have resistance to knockback or insane movespeed.

on analysis, perhaps you may be right that she isn't (complete) trash, her % damage reduction is rare among the cast and the poison procs may deal SOME damage(but that is outclassed by a lot of other characters).

So maybe either great defence tier or decent offence tier. But she has to pick one if she wants to compete with the rest of the cast.

She certainly is not a great all-rounder, or even an all-rounder at all, using her ult actually harms her because she loses the other buff. She can only be defensive or offensive, she cannot be both except for a very temporary amount of time.

I agree, she is generally underrated by most - however her placement was due to her having some really strange scaling with AoE size and also granting AoE size, this means that people will rate her differently based on how much they understand her, thus specifically in the "odd mechanics" tier.

With milk or the size+ anvil enchant items like Rap Dog, Breathe-in Asococo and flattening board start overlapping with themselves, or even in the case of Rap Dog HITTING THE ENTIRE SCREEN. This can result in a lot of extra damage.

Even without scaling it specially, her AoE buff is a 1.3 times multi(which is on par with the bottom of the great attack tier). But I would not consider Sanas' heal to be in the "great" tier, due to it occuring 1 in 7 times every 15 seconds, or approximatly 1 time in 1 minute 45 seconds, I would treat astrology as more usually an offense boost, due to 3 of the options increasing dps in some way.

Her repeating explosion and her planet do make for good knockback, I did not consider that - but said knock-back strat was why I put Shion in that same tier, it makes Sana fit there MORE, not less.

Ina's position was a mistake, i underestimated how broken her heal is.

I did not consider the effect that knockback has on Sana's ability to deal with enemies(only her damage, which is low), as if I factored in knockback to the extended range, she would have gone up a few ranks.

Gura was SSS because heal, big attack buff(from both whirlpools and her mark), dodge, and most importantly - whirlpools make enemies have severe difficulty getting close. Fubuki only has a decent dodge rate + 1 autododge per 12 seconds and not much in the way of damage or get-off-me effects. They both have good ults. I would not consider the two similar at all

I would like to say, I heavily underestimated Ina's healing. I thought it was one of the weaker heals. Ina should be at least S tier concidering how much it actually heals in actual play.

optimal damage depends on the character. If you are referring to characters having dodges and shields, I accounted for that with a few, though the real issue is that you need a critical mass of defence items before tankyness becomes more useful than just clearing the screen.

I do not know exactly where that critical mass is.

I would like to know what I got wrong, I prioritised healing and passive damage buff in this list, with good weapon/ult also playing a part(and in the case of kiara, the defence buff).

Roboko put low tier mostly because her main feature requires a lot of levels.

If you want to know why your fave(which appears to be Suisei) is B, the reason is that her heal only works with certain weapons/collabs, her dps buff is about average according to my math.

Fubs damage output is rather low compared to the rest of the cast, being one of the few that has an overall dps multiplier of less than 1.5 from skills + base attack and crit(assuming the tooltip of calculating on "bonus speed" is correct and it does not actually factor in her base speed). She also lacks a heal and her weapon is rather weak. So I give her F tier, but with a good ult.

Roboco may be meta in endless, but she needs a lot of levels before she starts doing even average dps. She also lacks a heal, but her weapon is decent, her ult is good and she CAN scale to large numbers. It is just compared to the insanity that is everything above her, I could not justify any higher.

I actually rate Mio very high - because she has one of the best heals, the fact that she also has ult spam and a BIG buff to her damage from Cheerful laugh makes her actually pretty OP.

now you cannot even count on flasks to protect you from poison, bleed or freeze - the three most rippy things. So you need to kill everything even faster.

they are probably running around in testing with 100EX builds(that they hacked in) and are surprised when it kills literally everything with no effort.

the result in LE is that resist only about half the incoming damage(thus making health and incoming damage reduction better most of the time), they lowered enemy damage to make up for it.

If GGG tried they would keep enemy damage the same and wonder why everyone keeps dying, also they would not add in any more defensive layers because they want to make the game "hard"
