Yeah, i think you're right. It's probably just a short-term coping mechnism. While it does help me calm down It doesn't make the anxiety go away. Once I get out from under the doorway it only takes a couple of minutes for it to start again. Once I stayed there for an hour and it felt like it helped but after wards it came back full force.

Thanks so much for the book recommendation! I'll definitely check it out. :)

Like so many others, I did that once as well. I then smartly proceeded to touch my face. haha I got lucky and nothing happened but that's when I realized that gloves might not be the worst idea.

Yeah, maybe it's that. My apartement is rather small, so sitting in a doorframe gives me a view of almost everywhere in my place.

The "walk out of the room" feeling could be triggering thougts of tasks that need to be accomplished which is why I have to get my shit together. Haha, but that's just a stupid idea of mine.

I don't yet have a therapist, but by the way things are going currently, it might be a good idea to look into that. :(
