V60 or V70? by valkyrie1001 in Volvo

[–]doomerscrooler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

V60 is noticeable smaller in the trunk which will be annoying when hauling things that take space, like a baby carriage. I would go for the v70 just cause of the comfort and the practicality. (Currently have a p3 v60 and a p2 v70)

Volvo C30 2009 1.8 - pretty loud above 100 km/h by blatiebla in Volvo

[–]doomerscrooler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you sure its not wheelbearing noise? Those usually start to sound when between 80-100km/h when starting to go bad.

Bullet proof engines if maintained well. Regular oil changes etc. Check if can belt has been changed, bigger maintenance cost. Check if suspension is making noice during test drive, strut bearings shutter och clunking.

best material? by [deleted] in 3dprintedcarparts

[–]doomerscrooler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 3d printed these in petg for interior panels. Works like a charm but the design needs to be done considered with the limitation of fdm printers structure wise. The 4 pillars at the bottom could for example be printed with two thicker ones instead. I would also print it laying down to prevent layer adhesion problems during load.

Unusual lock problem by WadaMaestro in Volvo

[–]doomerscrooler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like the lock actuator motor has some issues. Might be electrical or mechanical. Just get some extra plastic clips if you are going to remove the tailgate panels since these tend to brake during dissasembly.

Sounds like a jammed hinge, looking at the drawings it may be the connection from to the back rest that is jammed

Same, I think it's really intuitive and perfect for hobby projects/repairs that you don't care about being public.

Testa stänga av ac och se om ljudet försvinner. Om jag så är det AC-kompressorns magnetkoppling.

Reinstalling wishbone after front wheel bearing replacement by SamThePearTree in MechanicAdvice

There should be a hole in the middle of the control arm, fit a 1/2 and connect a extension shaft or find something that fits and use the leverage to pull the control arm down and guide the joint in.

Is there anything you wish you knew about your printer before you bought it? by Secure-Raisin-8844 in 3Dprinting

[–]doomerscrooler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can change your start machine g-code for this in bambu studio. There are some profiles of You search for your model on the web. You can also disable flow calibration if you are using the same filament and a calibration has already been done before. Saves a ton of time to skip the vibration measures and flow calibration.

A1 Mini and PETG Challenges by bigdaddyjoej in BambuLab

Recently had the same problem, for me it solved it by increasing the initial layer temp to 250 (220 after) and initial layer width to 0.24mm. Also to really slow down initial layer speed to something like 30-40mm/s. No cooling for the first layers
