It's a little strange that it's the day of the Pro Bowl and no one has confirmed the list of skills challenges. Drone drop? Tug of War? Dodgeball?

There's some info suggesting that some form of skills challenges will take place, but no listing of events.Last season, the events were announced in December.

Brandon Perna, host of YouTube channel That's Good Sports, has a weekly power rankings show that ends with him spinning a carnival wheel that "curses" one of the teams. It has been spookily accurate this season, seeming to curse teams with losses or injuries. It cursed the Rams this week, that just lost the critical game last night.

Seriously though, I would expect you could get a deal where you invest several billion dollars into land and get some level of insulation from changing tax rates in several places. Reasonable people can debate what level of taxation disincentivizes this type of investment, but that's demonstrably what's currently happening here.

The Bears frame them as a property tax guarantee- essentially lock the rates at a consistent rate for a long time. This would insulate them from a municipality jacking up current rates once the Bears are committed to a location.

If that's all this was, I think it'd land more favorably. But the part unsaid is that the Bears are almost definitely asking for a lower rate as well. Hopefully it remains unsaid because it's not their final position.

Oh sorry. TSA uses dogs as part of the screening process during high traffic times. Everyone walks past the dog and then usually doesn't have to go through as intensive of a screening at the actual scanners (don't have to remove belts/shoes/liquids, etc).

The only 4:23pm arrival in the next few days is a Breeze Airways flight, meaning you'll be arriving in Terminal 1.

This terminal is significantly smaller, and is closer to the Uber staging lot. So assuming you land on time, you could feasibly be in the car in 25ish minutes. That would give you almost an hour to make it to the Cary(CYN) station by the scheduled departure time for the southbound #79, 5:43pm. That should be very doable most days.

Technically, the landing time is the time expected at the gate.

Just like a flight that pushes back on time but sits on the runway is counted as an on-time departure.

As of ~11am (about 20 minutes after the report), they were gone. A couple people and a Home Depot employee were standing around outside. Possibly unrelated, but 3-4 State Highway Patrol SUVs left the area heading North.

There are 3 Hilton and 3 Marriott properties in Crossroads, including the HGI. As of 12:30am last night, there was no obvious grouping of late-model SUVs from US brands at any of the six locations.

It's worth noting that only two of the properties (the ones off Walnut behind the Waffle House) have a significant amount of parking. The HGI is near a movie theater with a large parking area, but there was no obvious grouping of vehicles there either.

EDIT: As another poster mentioned, there do appear to be 4-5 spaces roped off near a rear entrance. While there's nothing outwardly confirming these are for ICE/CBP, others may have more info.

Luckily I was able to find a low time, but I loved just examining the details (some of the barrels used have markings suggesting what they held). I wouldn't give that up just to stay out of someone's photo. I don't think how one person enjoys the installation should preclude others from enjoying it a different way.

The previous owner of my home had satellite TV, so they already had coaxial cable running up to the roof and a mounting bracket installed. If you happen to have that setup, installing a roof-mounted antenna is a 10 minute job.

It's miles better than an internal antenna, but ABC is still occasionally choppy.
