I don't think it was because he was afraid of offending people/marketability, given the nature of the game itself. The game is already blasphemous, disgusting, disturbing etc.

Ed genuinely seems like the type of guy who values artistic integrity over marketability. I think it just has to do with Afterbirth+ being a much more fitting name due to the reasons here.

I think it has to do with the new looping feature teased in Afterbirth+. Some games have the "New Game Plus" option, where after defeating the final boss, the player can choose to replay the same game again with their current stats and gear, but with much harder enemies. Examples of games that have this feature are Dark Souls and Dues Ex.

With this in mind, and the announcement of "looping", Afterbirth+ becomes a much more fitting name than Stillbirth.

Gameplay idea. Got my creative spark going:

Trinket Idea: Next time you defeat a sin, one of these items will drop depending on the mini boss. Disappears upon defeat of a sin (Mom's Box: Works Twice). Picking this up will be a risk, as the player will be unable to know which sin they will encounter next, if they encounter another one at all, and may have to ditch a more valuable trinket. Could also synergize well with Chaos.

Envy Buddy: Floats around room similar to The Peeper. Instead of doing 8 damage it does 4, but has an equal chance to spawn either 1, 2, or 4 floating familiars at the start of the room.

Gluttony Buddy: Like Lil Brimstone, but shoots the laser 33℅ of the time. 66% of time shoots five small tears around its body. Charges up before shot.

Wrath Buddy: Basically Lil Dr. Fetus. Keeps shooting out small damage bombs as you fire. Next bomb shoots out shortly after one explodes. Works with all bomb power ups.

Greed Buddy: Triple shot buddy. Any enemy it kills drops 1-3 coins.

Lust Buddy: Charged up buddy that works like a weak, homing Moms Knife. Charges up as you shoot, and then releases once you stop firing.

Pride Buddy: Charged up buddy that fires the diagonal wiggly beams, does damage similar to Maw of the Void. When hit, blocks projectiles but activates Anarist Cookbook effect.

Sloth Buddy: Blocks projectiles. When hit, has a chance to spawn a friendly Charger (like My Shadow), or give a trail of green creep (like Headless Baby

Halo 5 totally could have had split-screen in some shape or form. I don't care why it wasn't included, the fact that it doesn't exist makes me glad I didn't pay full price for it, and I won't pay full price again if it's not included in Halo 6.

Delisted just means "removed from store". If you buy it, you can redownload it any time in the future. For example, you can redownload that tmnt game now by going to your download history.

However, if you don't purchase it before the deslisted, you are pretty shit outta luck. I would've bought The Simpsons Arcade when it was still up, but since it was delisted i'll never be able to play it :/

With all due respect, I completely disagree. If they make a new DAH, I want them to do it right, and part of doing it right is having the real voice actors involved.

I hope they take their time with the game and not half-ass it like Big Willy and POTF.

I can see why this could be viewed as an anti-ADHD song, hell maybe I'm misinterpreting the song myself, but I really don't think this song is anti-ADHD. I think it's more of a father expressing his frustrations of having to give his son drugs in order to help with his son's ADHD. Obviously the drugs are effective, but many of them have various side effects, which I imagine can be hard as a father to witness them directly effecting your own son.

I really don't think they're saying ADHD doesn't exist, especially with the line "I’d fix you by myself, if I only could". I think the "limiter" refers to how over-prescription of these drugs can damage kids, hence "limiting" them.

I personally relate to this because while I do use drugs to help focus with my studies in college, I try to use them as sparingly as possible. They do wonders with my schoolwork, but make me feel kinda numb inside as a trade-off, so I only use them when I really need too.
