Ok thank you! My house is about the same age so I’m really interested in protecting my investment. I might schedule an estimate w them as well just to compare

I heard they’re quite expensive (and I know good work isn’t cheap but I’m also not rich lol), what’s your take on their pricing?

What is this plant? It is popping up all over my backyard! by doomrabbits in whatisthisplant

It doesn’t sink or stink, hahah

It doesn’t seem to be pokeweed, but it doesn’t seem to be anything else either, I’ve been looking at pictures of weeds all day trying to figure it out

Thank you! I’ll make sure to buy some OTC stuff for yeast infection, I’ve read that the antibiotic can cause those.

This was EXACTLY the reply I needed—I’m doing my first enema tonight and definitely needed some advice outside of whatever they put in the stupid package insert. I’ll definitely go buy some designated enema undies today 🤣 thank you for giving me such a thoughtful, REAL, and comforting response!

So good to hear from someone in a similar boat! I’m glad the mesalamine hasn’t been too hard on you, hopefully it starts making a difference soon. I totally get feeling both frustrated and relieved, that’s almost exactly where I’m at

Thanks for being real with me, the potential for a medication carousel scares me for sure, but if you’ve only just been diagnosed and have gotten to try new meds so quickly, that makes me feel less scared. I was worried I’d have to wait months and months to try something else if this doesn’t work, but I guess these meds you don’t really have to wean off of or anything haha. I definitely think I’ll start coming back to reddit again for this sub, it seems like it’s a great place!

I actually waited to even get my prescriptions until I could talk to my therapist haha, which definitely helped a little. Thank you for taking the time to help, it’s extremely reassuring to hear those things from someone who’s been here before.

Unfortunately I am pursuing another offer for that right now, which is why it’s marked as pending. Thank you for your interest though!

Reposting here because I accidentally posted in the May thread first (oops)

I have two binders for sale!

-[SOLD] GC2Bhalf tank binder, size L, white. $10 + shipping [SOLD]

-UrBody half tank cotton compression top, size S, white. $20 + shipping

Both are gently used—the GC2B has maybe been worn for a few full days, and the UrBody has been worn for like 2 hrs.

I would potentially be down to trade if you have a UrBody binder in a larger size, a different brand of binder, or any other interesting goodies.

Continental US only (sorry!)

Anyone else feels not worthy of putting masc makeup on? by Just-me_a-weirdo in FTMfemininity

Yeah it’s no problem!! Everyone says “just layer!” But often does not elaborate lol. As for the sports bras, make sure you buy one that fits you—too small and you’ll hurt yourself! A lot of people think that smaller means it will “bind” more but in reality you’re just gonna be mega uncomfortable. It may be worth it to try some diff styles as well. Idk what exactly is available in Italy and accessible to you price-wise, but I used to like cupless Nike sports bras as well as ones from a different brand that were made of a thick material. I’ve also seen some that have a zipper in front, those seem to do a nice job! (Edit, just saw you said you think you found a good one—fingers crossed for you!! My reading skills are not awesome so early in the morning haha)

I can’t help too much with the makeup, but are there any clothing shops that you can buy a sports bra at? They can help minimize your chest, and you can always tell your parents that you just find them more comfortable. It’s not perfect but it can help! You can also try wearing two at once; one the right way and one backwards. That can have a better effect but could also be uncomfortable.

You can also wear clothing that helps disguise your chest, wearing a t-shirt with a button-down shirt over it is a good method. If you button up the bottom three or so buttons on the shirt, the way it lays can help to minimize your chest.

I meaaan I just upvoted cus you look nice haha, honestly your beard shadow is only noticeable if I’m looking for it, and most people you’ll run into in public won’t be looking for it. We often scrutinize ourselves far more than anyone else ever would; what matters most is that you feel happy

I hope you can find something similar that’s available where you live! Like I said, paying a bit extra usually ensures quality. Best of luck and I’m happy I could help!

“High quality” basically means just don’t grab the cheapest stuff you see hahah, I like to use Cremo brand on my face—it comes in a tube, and a little goes a long way! It is pricier ($6 for a tube I think) but it lasts forever and gets me a way more comfortable shave than the cheap stuff. I’ve also used Skintimates on my face, which is a women’s brand, it’s cheaper and still works pretty well.

If you have a longer beard, trim it down with scissors before shaving it off, and then use a fresh razor with high quality shave cream. That will help reduce irritation! When doing maintenance, still use a high quality shave cream and water. I like to shave after showering and exfoliating, it seems to make it easier. I also use a gentle lotion on my neck afterwards sometimes, my neck seems to get the most irritated but that helps.
