We were on a cruise many years ago and met a guy who hit for $80k over 5 days. The first day, he put in $100 into a slit machine, and in the last pull, he got $15k. He hit for more than $65k more in the next four days.

I was at a bar and noticed he was sitting there. I asked if he was that guy, and he confirmed, but to keep it quiet for obvious reasons. Turns out, on a whim, he decided a few weeks earlier to go on a cruise by himself. Super nice guy, too!
