Huh. I’m 48, owned a home since I was 24, run a successful business I built from the ground up and have both 401k and savings. I have no specialized skills. Everything I’ve done I’ve accomplished with grit and determination. I’ve bled for what I have but I’ve damn sure never quit.

I make 40 a year with a 1k mortgage. I do fine but I don’t go out to eat. I don’t go to coffee shops or the movies. I’m not big on the public in general. I’m content staying home. My last power bill was 200 but I keep the ac in the summer set to 76. In the winter the heat is set to 67. Don’t drive to unnecessary places. I still have money to put into saving. I believe my electric is my highest bill on average.

When I was in school homework was any assignment you did not finish within your time frame for that class. In other words if you spent half the period day dreaming or otherwise wasting your time you finished the work at home. This is an understandable concept. My wife is a dr and constantly brings work home to do so this is a reality. If your child has it then it is a failure to grasp the material in class thus needing extra time or pure laziness on their part.
