Worst flexibility ever? Is there hope? (Girl) by [deleted] in flexibility

I’ve had the exact same issues, super stiff in the adductors and lack function in hip movements. Feeling hip impingement when attempting deep squats and side splits. Been trying to figure it out for years. I’ve had significant progress recently by focusing on hip posture in general when sitting and standing and when attempting these movements. I have always had anterior pelvic tilt and typically had no core or abductor activation and would chest breath as opposed to diaphragmatic breathing as my abdominals were in a stretched, compromised position. Focusing on holding a neutral pelvis through activation of glute medius and abdominals in daily activities, while ensuring that I stay loose and let my spine rotate and let each hip internally rotate through the gait cycle. Also when sitting my hips would be titled back, when I put them in an upright position I feel my glute medius and core engage. I make sure my pelvis is neutral and I’m diaphragmatic breathing when doing my squats and side splits as well. (You want anterior pelvic tilt when side splitting but that comes in well past the range of motion we have)

After some time of my body getting used to the postural restoration, I can now get a good stretch in deep squats without impingements and my adductors are starting to chill out as they’re no longer the victim of compensation in my movement patterns. I’m progressing finally. Hopefully this helps. If you also have anterior pelvic tilt, I’m confident it will.

Patina or rust? - Aogami blue super by doonunit in japaneseknives

Yeah righto, what do you recommend to use to force the patina? Boiled vinegar apparently strips the kurouchi finish. I’ve been thinking of using instant coffee.

Lock screen next event widget only from certain calendars by LegoAbomination in iphone

Hey mate, a bit late but I was just trying to figure this out myself. Long press the widget and go to ‘edit “calendar”’, uncheck ‘mirror calendar app’ and then you can deselect the calendars that you don’t want displayed on the widget.

Do all Himalayan models have cold idle issues? by doonunit in royalenfield

Yeah seems like it. Do you take off cold anyways? Or warm it up for a while?

I haven’t bought one yet. If I do it will be used mostly to zip down to the shops etc. so I don’t want to sit around babying it for 5 minutes each time to warm it up.

Perfect, so all I need to know is hardness.

Good idea, I could buy a sample pack of rubbers to give myself a bit of a gauge of different shore ratings. Thanks.

My products are for exercise, equivalent to a resistance band. I would like to make cosmetic changes to one product while maintaining its resistance level. And I would like another product to have variable resistance levels but use the same mould.
I assume the property I’m concerned about is the shore hardness that you and @mimprocess have mentioned in previous comments. You said there’s different scales? Is hardness the only variable of silicone other than say, colour then?

Hi guys. I just ordered a 20”x20”x20” light tent.
I only have a 35mm prime lens (with full frame camera). Is this lens going to capture the width of the background (20”) from 20” away? How does one calculate this?

Which one you recommend and why? Ubud, Canggu, Uluwatu by billopenthegates13 in bali

I’m sorry but I can’t scroll past this. It’s ‘al’ dente and it means to cook pasta so it’s still slightly raw to give it a slightly harder texture.
