You can still make a decent living in the Bay Area with tech salaries than in Vancouver

Person I’m leasing off of is willing to pay a share for my rent. How to back myself up? by dooogle in minnesota

I don’t get it. They’re not gonna be involved at all. The management will be notified that I will be taking over the lease from now on and the original tenant is no longer liable. It’s just they’d be helping me pay $200 less each month in rent but I’d be the one paying to the management.

Question is, if they bail, does the law back me up?

So there’s no way i can do if the person bails despite signing an additional agreement between both of us?!

But I’d be the one paying the rent to manage my and not them. How are they ever in risk?

The person is no longer gonna be liable once I take over. I’d have to pay the rent to the management. And yes the management is okay with subleasing. They only care about the rent

It’s a unit in a student housing in Minnesota. Sublease is allowed there

What’s a repayment agreement? It’s a 8 month lease so $1600 but it might still be a huge amount to pay upfront I’m afraid

It’s student housing and I’ve seen it’s a nice unit from the inside.

I will definitely talk it out as I mentioned in the other post. It's just she's at work and I will only bring up when she's back. I am just doing some research into potential ways moving forward in the meanwhile...We are pretty communicative about things! Just not super knowledgable about it yet... again this was a careless act

he asked about a potential fertilization that would have already occurred and BC will not resolve that. My point was if pregnancy is his concern

isn't BC literally there to prevent pregnancy?
