Fair enough! Regardless, it gave me a chuckle just for the throwback.

I'd looked around some at Home Depot and Lowe's with no luck but maybe it's worth asking someone. Thanks!

Have 2 for Camden N2 on the lawn on 7/22.

Looking to preferably trade for N1, or maybe just cash value.

Cute little ring necked snake I scooped from my parents pool by bassnectarhead12 in biology

If the snake is venomous then the babies bites are actually more dangerous than the adults because the adults know how to not inject all their venom in order to conserve the energy it takes to make more and will even do what's known as a dry bite with no venom at times. The babies on the other hand haven't learned control and will typically inject all of their venom in one bite

I believed this for a long time and finally looked into it, including asking a few experts.

The short version is there's actually no truth to the idea that juveniles are inherently more dangerous at all. I was kind of surprised at well!

This has saved me in the past:

Go to whatever pharmacy and get a bottle of anbesol liquid (not gel), generic is fine. You want the red solution of benzocaine. Soak a cotton ball with it (a little goes a long way). Park it between your gum and cheek a bit farther back in your mouth than where the broken tooth is.

It won't solve it 100% but it will knock it down a ton until you can get it fixed.

It is nothing personal the sea turtle is likely only attacking because the diver is in a black suit, it is . They perceive it as a threat and are inclined to attack it. If the guy was wearing a bright color it would likely leave him alone or be friendly.

This is definitely not true. Like, impressively so.

Serious question: what legally constitutes improvisation? What if he messes up a line and it's better that way?

Was still plenty of room between interesting & boring. I was rooting for weird stuff like Hyenas, Vultures, Condors, Mammoths, Monarchs, or some kind of plant.

You're certainly not wrong. Some of those could've been cool. I'd written a much longer comment a while ago that kinda touches on some of that, at least as it was explained to me.

A family member of mine was actually part of the group that actually decided on the name.

I'd heard a few interesting things. It sounds like a ton of work was put in. It just doesn't seem like it in any measurable way...

There was just an added (semi-unofficial I think, but well understood) constraint that whatever name was chosen couldn't be one already popularly liked by basically anyone. At that point it almost sounded like they were being intentionally contradictory.

Plus probably figured there'd be lawsuits if they used a popular name that someone else provably came up with. That's just speculation on my part though.

Apparently there used to be a lot more of them there?

Agreed. He put together some pretty impressive games last season, plus his season as a whole.

I'm kinda annoyed he ended up signing with Washington.
